Growth can be both good and bad Depending on whether or not the changes are benefiting society as a whole.

No he wasn't. He should have realized that would be the case though when he married Elizabeth. He would never be a true ruler or have much, if any say, in the affairs of the crown.

Phillip really wanted to do something, make a change in the royal family, become more modern. While I do think he had a real point though, he was very looking into the future as the parliament stayed true to the roots of the country and the Crown.. Not wanting to change one bit!

i do like that his ideas helped make the royal family more popular after that.. His idea did work!

In those gifs I just love the suggestion of arranging the photographer like something he could do no wrong in

they sure didn't trust him

I thought it was great as well that he tried to bring the common people closer to the royal family by broadcasting the ceremony

I get it why it was so strange to them at first since they cling to their traditions so bad

they probably regretted opposing it later cause it only made the monarchy more popular

I'm glad for Phillip that his ideas worked out so well ... though a simple thank you couldn't be said

oh, those people would never admit that they were wrong but I'm sure Philip wasn't expecting it either. but he must've been glad that his plans were so successful

I'm sure he was happy he was succesfull but a little bit of gratitude towards him would have been nice given the royal family's popularity grew a lot afer the broadcast.
