Understandable but at the same time sort of a shame that they had so few scenes

He sure does, then doesn't return to awhile later. But that's his ending when he reappears. Alot of poeple think he will end up with Rick Grimes comic book ending though, which could make sense. In the comics, Rick Grimes dies via having his throat slit in his sleep, by somebody seeking revenge. SO people think Negan will meet his end, at the hands of Maggie's son Hersel, after he finds out who killed his dad.
