Walking dead changed a lot after season 8. It's a completely different feel now these days. This episode is more of a classic walking dead epi.

I say good and bad. Good change because we got Negan as a main character, and got some pretty cool storylines. Bad because we lost a lot of key characters, and they changed the dynamic of the show completely. So the familiarity wasn't there because of so many changes. The biggest was rick, the show literally starts with rick and it's always been can centered around his leadership. I miss him!!

Yes, season 8 brought in a new producer and writer.

Losing main characters can really affect a show I still find it weird to think about Rick no longer being in the show, he was so integral to the whole thing! I for sure thought he'd be in it till the end.

That explains the changes, new EP's always change things up sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse.

It's especially weird when rick was the leader in the comic to.
Everytime I watch the show I just really miss seeing Ricks face, and those curls of his!

One thing that's always impressive about this show is the makeup department cause the Walkers always look disgusting, creepy and real (which adds to the creepy)
