I'm thinking it's reasons 1 or 2. 1 makes sense because the rick movies aren't coming to theaters anymore due to covid. So Would make sense if last half of season 11 was ricks movies storyline. Started with rick, makes sense to end with him. Maybe he lives, and somehow he carries over to daryls show as well?

Well there's even more news saying that Andy May even return as Rick in the season 10 finale coming up! Kinda as a ending of the episode/season finale surprise thing I'm guessing. I so hope it's true!
