From what I gather, yes. Strictly is defined as "completely/purely," so I assume that is what she means. It wouldn't make much sense for her to jump into a relationship while trying to navigate being basically a mother now and trying to protect this girl from new "threats", that's just silly writing and would be crammed unless done so properly. Plus, we've gotta remember that she's been alone and with Madi for a hell of a lot longer than she was with any of the others on the ground.

I actually am not excited if that conversation of Madi telling Clarke the story of the 100 is real, because for me at least, it made Madi sound reaaaalllly young. I know she was young when Clarke found her, but she's gotta be like... 11/12 in canon, right??? It's not even her voice that makes her sound young, but the whole "second most badass"/"fairytale" type belief really cheesy dialogue. IDK. I hope it plays out better if it's a real scene.

what I found odd in the sizzle reel was the whole "grounders are monsters" thing, when like... Madi is/was already a grounder. Is that just a sloppy use of words or what?

do you guys think they've changed the actress for Madi? Originally it was Imogen Tear, but this girl who has been on Shadowhunters posted on her Instagram story that she was visiting the makeup and costume department for The 100 today, and posted this last week: . Someone asked on Instagram who she plays and she said for a hint watch the Comic-Con teaser again. If they've recast her, I wonder why?
