I actually can understand that.
At times it do feel like a lot of older people are judgement and have something negative to say about how people live their lives.

However, Eric and Annie are more that way than Ruth and John. lol

Okay, the actor who portrays Jack name is Garrett Strommen, and he was born in 1982. So, he was 22-23 years old when this episode aired since this episode aired in 2005.

They couldn't have gotten a a younger actor?

Tyler and Mackenzie are closer in age than that and for some reason the writers always came up with some ridiculous excuse for them. lol

Tyler was born in 1987 and Mackenzie was 1989......
