Just to give you a memory referehser.
Previous episode, Vincent asked Martin to get Ruthie to break up with him for he won't look like the bad guy for breaking up with her yet again. So Vincent wants to break up with Ruthie... he just doesn't want her to know he wants to break up with him.

Martin tried to give Ruthie all these reasons to break up with Vincent but it backfired and now she believes that Martin has a crush on her which is why he wants her to break up with Vincent...

So complicated. lol
