Yeah Eleven was still shy and scared. And I thought that was the perfect moment for Mike to get closer to Eleven. I think S2 will be angsty for them though.

I just realized that in the SuperBowl trailer, the part where Mike shouts "Eleven!" that was from the finale of S1 when Eleven disappeared after killing the Demogorgon.
