Really wasn't a fan of this episode. I found it to be super slow and fillery as a premiere. But I know this show always picks up near the end of the season.



That opening was very poor timing considering what just happened a few days ago… How did they get Eleven to look so young? And was that flashback real?

So Jonathan is a druggie now? Wow. Poor El, dealing with the A holes at school. I also really hope they go the Will is gay route PLEASEEEEEE I BEG. I kinda like the California vibes tho.

Never liked Lucas and he’s still an idiot. Poor max dealing with her trauma. ERICA CONTINUES TO BE AWESOME.

I started getting a tiny bit bored about 20 min in, that whole speech on the basketball court was a bit long to me lmao. Also the scene with the random new characters in the woods… And sadly it didn’t really get any better.

So Vicky was the girl in the band next to Robin? They kinda look similar. Why do so many of the girls have the same reddish hair color? lol. Even the new character Chrissy had it. (BTW who the heck is this chick and why is all of this happening to her, is what she is seeing flashbacks or what? I'm lost? That creature is scary as **** though)

Also I’m sorry but Joyce and Eleven look like twins this season lol.



Overall I found the episode kinda blah. It just let very slow compared to other Stranger Things episodes. The music continues to slay though. It did pick up in the last 8 minutes, that whole sequence was very entertaining. Well see where the next six episodes go!

I think Eddie is my new fav character. I love him

I do agree that the basketball speech went on way to long

and I assume the eleven scenes were flashbacks but I have no idea how they made her look so young.

I was disappointed with the premiere too, I thought it would start with a bang, but instead it started with a whimper..

I hope the next episodes pick up the pace and storytelling.

It was just very slow going, I felt more could have happened but I guess if they have the season and next mapped out they are going to take their time, so I'm okay with it, just not one of my favorite episodes. In fact, its def.one of the weakest ST episodes imo.

Watched first 3 episodes I don't mind it. It is a slower pace but I like it cause it is stepping up everything for later on

Also poor El being bullied, I don't understand why everyone would laugh it that irs so mean .

Also who is Jamie character is he the big bad ?

Well, I finished the season and I dont feel like it really gets better. There are some stand out episodes but overall I wasnt a big fan.

When I watched this episode I was just wondering, if that flashback is real, then I was curious why El killed everyone? Like those other kids didn't seem bad.
But maybe there was something deeper to it.

Also, I kinda liked Eddie He seems like an interesting character.

I felt like it's been so long since I saw the previous season I was a bit confused on what was happening in this. Like I had forgotten El lost her powers and then they moved..

Felt bad for El though when she was getting bullied. There's always mean people in schools.

Indeed I kind of knew what they were going to do with his character I called to my sisters but I still enjoyed it
