I didnt mean my comment against rafael per se. I just meant it in the TV show style and storyline point of view.

but I agree with the abuse or rape thematic. Everyone of you that watches Once upon a time knows that they ALSO had this topic wiht Zelena and Robin and let me tell you I am TOALLY against that. I also find that storyline bad for Rafael and I HOPE that it will be somehow mentioned

Yes, unfortunately Petra miscarried and I liked that it was brought back up when Petra was on bed rest with the twins and kept firing the doctors because they kept telling her she would be fine when that's what the doctors said before her miscarriage they made it seem like she was just being picky when it actually came from a really deep emotional wound.

Ha this reaction cracks me up but I don't fault Raf really because he certainly was tricked and as far as he knew Aneska was a good person because he knew how much Petra loved her although I will say when I rewatch that sex scene, Aneska did have a really weird and different expression that Petra never did so that part was odd but I imagine Raf wasn't looking at her when she did this



I get it, I think your post was fair but I also think that rape is such a touchy subject so there's bound to be some differing opinions. I think with TV we should be able express how we feel even if it might not be something you'd say or think if it was real life. I actually never even thought about Raf sleeping with Petra for 5 years until your post and it got me thinking. But I think the twin thing really did make it impossible for him not to know even if he was familiar with Petra in the bedroom

That scene with Aneska at the end of the season was horrifying. I feel bad for all parties involved there. Except her of course since she's doing something wrong to people who have only been nice to her. I hope they figure this out soon and it doesn't drag on half the season. It's a soap trope but it's one that I've never liked.

OUAT has done something similar several times and it was never addressed. First with Graham and later Rumple then with Robin. It was wrong every single time and the show didn't really address how horrifying it was--for the characters or the audience. I hope JtV does a better job with the fallout. And I hope they don't make it seem like Raf was wrong when he wasn't thinking clearly nor did he have any reason to think Aneska would do something like that. I don't think it'll take him long to realize she isn't Petra though. He's a pretty smart guy and he knows Petra better than anyone else. I think he'll see right through Aneska's act.

I really hope the show doesn't brush over Raf getting tricked like this. Also, I hope it doesn't brush over how freaking traumatizing this must be for Petra in general.

I want Raf to be the one who figures out that this isn't Petra.

Welcome Static Wave, I'm Nikki. I hope the aftermath of what happened at the end of s2 is good for both characters. It has to leave a mark on both of them and I hope it's properly addressed. I also hope that Raf is the one who figures out what's going on with Petra and saves her. I think it'd be a great story arc for him and I think Justin would rock those scenes.

With Zelena in late s3. I consider her forcing him to do things against his will as abuse. And it was kind of implied that she forced him to do more than hurt people. And his trauma of being under her control was brushed under the rug so he could be a mustache twirling villain in s4.

I'll be quite annoyed/upset if anyone besides Raf notices that Aneska isn't Petra. She's let him closer to her than anyone else and I think he's gotten to know her quite well since the pregnancy. It wouldn't make sense for it to be anyone but him.

Yeah, don't get me started. Rumple was my favorite character because of how layered/complex he was but after s3, they turned him into a cartoonish character. That's one of many reasons why I don't watch the show anymore.
