Such a sad and well just emotional all around episode but a case I figured might happen. As for the ending I think no matter what ending they went with it could have been seen as contrived. I mean if they found the evidence just in time and got out it would have been oh of course they did. Nothing new. So I think either ending could be seen as that.
I do understand them going with this ending though over the other as I feel this one shows us more than a happier ending would have giving us. It was nice to get some more Tess/Sam partnered up as it doesn't happen too often. I also love his little smile like he was proud of her. I''m also really loving Sam/Maxine. I'm very interested in seeing how they were before the CIU and knowing more of their history (well I'm like that with all of them  ). There does seem to be a (somewhat at least) friendship there. And I love he was worried about her.I have to say I was actually really enjoying the final Hayes/Conner scene up until the kiss. *sigh* Like if they want H/C together that's fine but I really wish they didn't push it so hard. Not too much focus of Tess/Frankie outside them giving things about the case but they were still awesome and I still love it when they partner up. |
