I'll never understand the WWE's current contempt for tag teams when some of their greatest wrestlers, success stories, -- from Austin to HBK to Bret Hart to Edge to the Hardys -- developed in part because of their time in one. It helped them learn their craft and be better prepared to understand what it takes to get over, to take the steps they needed to when called upon to be more.

A strong tag division now would be a great thing for a lot of the younger guys with potential that still needs to be harnessed/polished up floating around the rosters... but nope, they don't care.

vince likes the tag team division about the same amount that he likes the divas division which is none. which is really sad! we have like what 4? in tact tag teams? ted/cody , cryme tyme , primo/carlito , bella twins (which doesn't count)

Yeah the Colons, Cody and Ted and Cryme Time are really the only tag teams left. So pretty much the tag division is dead. Maybe they will create some new teams now though with the new rosters. Like I could see The Miz and The Brian Kendrick becoming a team on Raw now.

This is probably actually the reason why they are splitting up all the teams to test the guys out as singles wrestlers and see if they have future stars like those guys became. But they are doing it way too soon with these tag teams clearly none of them are ready right now to be on their own. Morrison is really the only one I could see becoming something on his own.

Vince McMahon Doesn't like his Womens' Division? May be he don't like it much, cuz Santino's in it, but Gail Kim's back which helps. TNA's Knockouts Division is vastly better I think if you enjoy watching women wrestle.

Obviously it's not that Santino is in it since he clearly likes Santino and put him in the womens division for the laughs

The problem with the womens division is now with the WWE having the PG rating and being kid friendly they can't do all the gimmick matches with the divas like bra and pantie matches and stuff so Vince doesn't care as much. He should take the opportunity to showcase the womens wrestling now that he can't showcase their "puppies" but no he just gives them the same 3 minute tag matches each week where one of divas in the match doesn't even get in the ring before the match is over and then they make it a joke by throwing Santino in there. But atleast he makes it funny

The other problem is that with the small amount of actual good diva wrestlers they have they can't really do much thats why we see Mickie or Melina vs Beth all the time for the title. Hopefully now with the little changes in the rosters they can create some fresh rivalries and give some time to the divas but I doubt it maybe they will on Smackdown now with a solid womens division there but Raw I think we will get more of the same atleast until the Santino/Beth stuff is over. There is not much I like about TNA's booking but I have to say they book their Knockout Division very well unlike WWE.

RAW has Mickie, Jillian, Beth, Brie, & Nikki, so it should be all right. Remember the Battle Royal they had at WrestleMania? Fantastic! Hope they have another 1 soon. If WWE don't want to show there divas ''puppies'' then they're doing bad job of hiding em, Cuz I still see em during matches. They'll probably still have bikini contests anyway.

^ you are the only one that thinks that about the battle royal. word was that vince HATED that battle royal and thought it was awful and frankly so did i, it was a trainwreck. the wwe has good female wrestlers (aka beth, mickie, melina (hasn't watched maryse/natalya wrestle so i can't comment on them) but now since they can't get them down to their bra and panties vince has no idea what to do with them.

Yes I remember the battle royal at Wrestlemania, It was atrocious. It was a complete disaster and waste of time. There was no wrestling in the match at all.

Everyone thinks the womens division sucks now and haven't liked it since it had Trish and Lita but the fact is they still have alot of great wrestlers (Beth, Mickie, Gail, Michelle, Melina, Mayrse and Natalya) all great wrestlers but WWE gives them no time because they spend all their diva time on Santino. Which is funny and all but makes the womens division a joke.

Santino winning that battle Royal was lame, but we got to see of our favorite divas in that match. Molly even came back for it. Those type of Divas matches that ''can't'' air on RAW could still be put on Pay-Per-Views. Doubt WWE will do that to it's fans & stop having them alltogether though.

PPV doesn't make a difference. TV is not the reason for the new change with them going PG. Its to make the product more family and kid friendly it doesn't matter if its PPV or RAW they can't have women in their bra and panties if they are PG. They have been censoring cursing and blood on PPV so that shows PPV is no different and they are seriously about this PG stuff.

The fact that no Diva did Playboy this year also shows they are done with all that.

Bids must be in by April 29th.

so true chris. i HATE all this PG crap that is going on. but it's what they are moving towards and i think it's stupid. now a days a match like cena/jbl's i quit match would be laughed at in the board room and not even given consideration (i KNOW there are more examples, plenty more, but i can't think of any, it was the first one that popped into my head) and that SUCKS! i remember that match! and it was a great entertainment and AWESOME to watch. and it SUCKS that most likely you want be seeing matches like that anymore.

WM needs to come back to PA. We only had 1 Wrestlemania here and it 10 years ago and was one of the worst WM's ever and I was to long to go . Meanwhile like every other place has gotten like 3 Wrestlemania's by now, Philly needs another Mania dammit

I do like though that Arizona gets next years and possibly New Orleans will get one. It will be cool to see Wrestlemania in new places, New York, LA and Texas have had enough already .

Yeah the PG stuff is crap. Wrestling is a violent sport even if it is entertainment. Its physical its stupid to take away blood and cursing from it. It was popular with kids even when it wasn't PG so I see it being just unnecessary. It shouldn't really be for kids anyway and it should be up to the parents if they its okay for their kids or not WWE should not have to change their format around to make it family friendly. I find it ridiculous when you see a brutal match like Taker/Edge Hell In A Cell last year where they use tons of weapons and not a drop of blood. I'm fine with them cutting down on it or whatever but sometimes blood is necessarily. As well as some other stuff they erased now because of the PG rating.

Anyway pretty good premiere for Superstars tonight. I like the idea of the show having 3 matches 1 from each brand. Happy to see Christian pick up the win hopefully he can win the ECW title now at Backlash which should be a great match with Jack Swagger.

Also Great Impact tonight TNA really bringing it strong for Lockdown. I might actually order the PPV after tonights show. Great to see the Fallen Angle back and Mick Foleys promo was sick. He has been awesome lately. I'm still worried about his match with Sting Sunday though but it could end up being good. The rest of the card is great though.

I disagree. This year is still young, so there's time for a wwe diva to be in Playboy if she wants. It gives WWE more publicity anyway. Aren't most children sleeping at 10:00 P.M. on Mondays, so why is WWE so scared about showing Bra & Panties matches on that show all of a sudden? That probably wouldn't happen on Spike TV. May be WWE will makeup for not having those matches, by having 15 Bikini Contests on their shows this year.
