Yes I thought I heard he said something about his family member.

Yeah it could have been about his sister like mentioned above. But Zidane has never revealed it nor has Materazzi.

France’s manager Dechamps is the 3rd person in history who has won the World Cup both as a player and a manager.

That means we'll never learn the truth.

Who are the other two?

Probably not.

Mario Zagallo (Brazil) and Franz Beckenbauer (Germany).

Thanks for telling me. I'm still pretty new to soccer so there are a lot of things I don't know.

You’re welcome. Those other two were before my time too (although I’ve heard of Beckenbauer) but my dad told me, we watched the final together.

And now that the World cup is over I don't know what to do. I'm going to miss it.

IKR? I'll miss having international games on a daily basis. But the new club season and Euro qualifications start soon.

Exactly, pretty much the entire month I've been watching soccer.

I can't wait for the season to start.

I've barely watched Netflix during the past month. I have so much catching up to do.

I'm gonna miss it too. I don't even watch much anything else than football anyway. xD But yeah, club football will be back soon!

I get that. NFL training camps open up some time in the next 2 weeks but the regular season doesn't start till September but yes soccer season starts soon. I know MLS is going on here but I don't watch it.

Congratulations to France for winning the WC. Fantastic goals by Pogba and Mbappe. He is going to be worlds best footballer no doubt. But I think in the first half, France were a bit lucky. The foul that led up to the first goal wasn't a foul. Croatia were a bit unlucky in my opinion because I thought they were the better team in the first half . In the end of the day the final decision is the referees regarding the penalty incident so we have to accept it - personally it was 50-50. It was a great WC tournament and I would say France are deserving winners overall
