Yeah I remember him getting hurt and that totally ruined Brazil's chances. I remember how bad it was when they lost to Germany in the WC.

I'm watching the game. Hope it goes well for you.

I remember that match, I had been lukewarm about Germany before it but I just couldn’t not become a fan after that, what a spectacle.

It did! In the end PSG didn’t stand a chance, Real Madrid showed why this is their competition. Another outstanding performance from the whole team and on the club’s 116th birthday too. I was super nervous during the first half but Cristiano’s goal finally made me relax. And what a beautiful goal it was and more records for the man (shared record to have scored in 9 consecutive matches in the UCL and the first player to have scored in the first 8 matches of the season in the UCL)! I’m just so happy because we were all so scared back in December when we drew PSG but Real Madrid was able to come back to the level they are at their best and take care of this tie with style. I hope this gives them lots of confidence to go far! I just love this team.

I’m watching Tottenham vs. Juventus right now.

Yeah that game was a disaster. Made me feel better about the US only losing to Germany 1-0.

Yay for Real Madrid.

Looks like PSG is still the same team they were last season.

And Tottenham.

1-0 wasn't bad at all in comparison.

I'm still so happy.

Yeah it definitely seems they still don't have what it takes to do well, not to mention win the Champions League. Shows money isn't everything, you have to have the right mentality.

Sorry about that Tottenham. They did a great job but that comeback from Juventus was just too much.

Yep and whatever mentality PSG has it seems Tottenham has it was well. My mom was so upset with them that she unfollowed them on Instragram.

Oh no. Will she be able to forgive them and start following them again?

Well we did watch them play yesterday and she was cheering for them but she's still upset. She says it's going to take some time.

I totally understand that. Big losses like that are hard to get over, I’m always down for days after it.

I’m watching the Man Utd vs. Sevilla match. The last few minutes have been absolutely wild! Sevilla is close to making history.

Huge win for Seville and horrible loss for Manchester United.

They really do!

It was huge! They struck like a lightning with those two goals within a few minutes. They haven't been in the quarter-finals in 60 years so congrats to them! And it's definitely a huge disappointment to Man Utd.

The quarter-final draw is tomorrow!

Update: My mom has refollowed Tottenham on Instragram.

So the draw is out, what do you think?

That's great.

I'm semi nervous about Real getting Juventus. xD I was wishing for someone easier. But those went to Barcelona and Bayern who are practically in the semis already. Especially Bayern has been super lucky throughout the entire competition.

I would guess Man City will go to semis too but then again Liverpool beat them in the Premium League earlier this season. Two legs might be different though.

What comes to Real Madrid vs. Juventus, we all remember what happened in last year's final. But again, two legs might be different. I know that Real Madrid at their best can beat anyone and I hope that they'll be able to handle this tie too and go to the semis (sorry Gigi). But the road hasn't been and still isn't easy.

Yeah she didn't stay angry at them for long.

Yeah as soon as I saw the draw I thought that Barcelona and Bayern were very likely going to the quarterfinals.

I saw lots of people were very upset that Man City and Liverpool were playing each other. They seemed to think that I was some conspiracy theory.

If you love a team, it's hard to stay mad at them even when they're being dumbasses.

It's obvious they are. I was hoping for Man City vs. Barcelona, well maybe in the next round. xD

It's certainly not the first time people suspect conspiracies. I guess it's kinda boring the two English teams will face each other but at least there will be an English team in the semifinals for sure.

Yep I knew she wouldn't stay angry for long.

They seem to think that UEFA wants a El Clasico final.
