nah if Lleyton and Kim were both number 1 or if Australia won DC and Belgium won FC now that would be heaven <g>

But that also means my other favourites would have to falter again *grrr*

I love that they gave Kim champagne yet she's under age in US <vbg>

I can't wait for the US Open...and I hope to GAWD that Andy Roddick starts to beef up his non-service game a bit. He can get so cocky and he just loses because he's not great at the volley game, he dosen't run for the balls half of the time.

Roddick seems to get a bit streaky @ times, you could say? I'm hoping he can break through in the grand slams. He's in a pretty good position going into the US Open.

I think Roddicks a good bet for the US open. I mean he beat Federer, and hes just won the masters so his confidence will be sky high. Plus he'll have all the crowd behind him.

And congrats to Kim Hasn't she won 14 titles now? and shes only 20. Thats really good

roddick does look good going into the us open. he's won 2 of the past 4 tournaments which are considered "us open tuneups" (rca and montreal tms). he's definitely a favorite and he's always played well in that slam. plus the u.s. media can't get enough of him. if he can keep it together and avoid injury then he has a good shot at winning his 1st slam and becoming #1.

Long time I haven't been on this thread! Got the Blaster Worm virus and stuff so..

Okay, so first of all, I'd like to see Hewitt get his act together...Get back his confidence, his agressivity...I mean his whole game! Cause right now, we really aren't seeing the guy that's been Nr.1 for 2 years and who's won 2 slams.

I heard Clijsters's got beaten at the 2nd tour at Toronto! That sucks...But I guess she needed some rest before the US Open, so it's cool!

Roddick...Well, well...what can I say ? Ever since he's been working with Brad, he's been playing great! It's really great for him. Tho, I'd like to see Federer Nr.1

General, you talking 'bout Harkelroad ?

Again

Damn, it's annoying, hopefully there won't be any crash before a long time now!

Anyway, I read Kim Clijsters got injured (ankle) during her match against Myskina (who btw defeated Henin in the finale 3-6 6-3 6-3) in Leipzig, she was leading 7-5 4-4 and had to retire. I hope she heals up soon!

I read that about Kim too, it didn't sound too serious though Must have been frustrating for her!

Im so bored with no major tennis events! Looking forward to the masters series though

When's the Master's Series, and where is it going to be held? I really miss seeing some tennis.

Jade, is your avatar from the missing scene in End Game? It doesn't look very familiar...

I wonder if we'll have to change Kim to Justine in the title of this thread, soon. I'm hoping Kim will kick a$$ at the end of the year championships.

I'm surprised that Justine lost to Anastasia Msykina. That's a good win for Msykina.
