| Elite Fan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks for starting the new thread Karen. I`m glad that you kept the stuff in the OP that i`ve worked on and given it a nice new look. BTW i agree with y`all about Nole being too mentally fragile. He always seem to come apart mentally whenever things aren`t going his way. In fact i find his racket throwing to be very annoying. I wish i could reach into my TV and smack him upside the head whenever he does that. I really would love to see him play with at least a little of Fed`s coolness and poise, which he did at the Australian Open. The same with Marat Safin, although that is near an impossible task with him.Anyway in action today, Sam Querrey, Ivo Karlovic, and Julien Benneteau won their first round matches in Nottingham, while Paul-Henri Mattieu was upset by Marin Cilic. Also Bobby Reynolds defeated Nicholas Mahat 7-5, 4-6, 6-4 in an Team USA-French Connection matchup. Meanwhile in Holland at the Ordina Open, on the men`s side, Richie and Arnaud Clement won their first round matches, while on the ladies` side, Dinara Safina also won her first round match. Lastly in Eastbourne, Amelie Mauresmo defeated Alize Cornet 6-1, 4-6, 7-5 in a matchup between two of the French Connection`s top ladies. __________________ Join the movement and vote for Dollhouse. Only when it's the US open I think they actually look up and say 'oh, this is an existant sport too'. It's prob bc they haven't had that many good players. You got James and Andy but they're both not considered favorites for any Grand Slam or such like Fed/Nadal/Nole are. Isn't that kind of sad for tennis, really? That you got three great players and the rest limps behind sort of speak? Everyone knows Rafa has the edge on clay/grass against Nole and Fed, Nole on hc against Fed/Rafa and Fed on grass against Rafa/Nole.Thanks for the info, Hot Rod. It's appreciated. ![]() Want to fast forward 6 days now though! ![]() | |||

| *Doesnt feel like Djoke has an advantage on HC* But I know what you're saying about it not being popular in the US ![]() __________________ ♥Vote Zach Quinto "If God played tennis, he'd play like Roger Federer." | |||

With us they show it on like 3971 channels. OK, more like 4 but still I think that's a lot. It's just a very important tournament. | |||

| I hate to watch tennis online, I love to watch it in my couch. Anyways, the first couple of matches of a GS are usually ****. Usually the better matches are starting to show in the 4th round. | |||
