Andy won the second set 6-4. I`m very pleased with how he has looked so far. Hopefully he can keep it going in the third set. I want to see him finish that thief Gonzo off in straight sets.

Edit to say: He just got the break to go up 2-0. Nicely played point by Andy to get the break. I want to see him keep it going and put it on Gonzo.

After now watching that display of suck from Gonzalez, I have to say that it seems like not playing the Olympics was a choice more of the men should have considered more strongly.

Andy's playing well... I just wish he'd move the hell in consistently. He should still put up a fight against Nole in this form though, so long as he serves well.

The match has just ended with Andy winning it 6-3, 6-4, 6-1. What an impressive performance from him.

I`m really pleased with how well he played. Now we`ll get to see him and Nole play each other next.

I hope Nole can improve on his play if he wants to have any chance against Andy. BTW it was nice to see him serve up a breadstick to Gonzo.

Good job Andy.

I'm happy for Andy. He seems like a nice guy and it's great that he has upped his form for his fave tournament with his home crowd. If he doesn't falter in the rallies, he might have a shot against Nole. He'll have to come out firing though. We'll see. I do prefer Nole's game so I still hope he'll win but I'm glad Andy has had such a good run here.

While Andy didn't present his A game [because Gonzo presented his Z game], I'm very happy with the 90 minutes straight sets game, and while I am a fan of both Andy and Nole, I wish for him to win Djoko, and I think he will. Nole did not look too good for too long in the Robredo match and he's back from 3:30 hours match while Andy kept it light.
Pretty shocked by Gonzo's appearance

Let's go Andy, all the way to the final!!!
