I`m happy to report that the Bryan Brothers won their first round match rather easily. Good start for Bob and Mike.  However i`m sad about Ana having to withdraw due to an injury in her right thumb. First Maria, now Ana. This summer sure has sucked for my two favorite ladies. Hopefully Ana will be ready for the US Open.__________________ Join the movement and vote for Dollhouse. | Yes, they're playing at the moment. Gonzalez grabbed the 1st set 6-4 and is up a break in the 2nd. Blake just won the first set 7-6 (3) | |||

| Elite Fan | James just finished his match against Dominik Hrbaty and he won it 7-6(3), 4-6, 6-3. Good win for James. I`m very pleased with how he elevated his play in the latter part of the match.BTW Gonzo won his match. Also i`m pleased with Nole`s win. It`s nice to see him looking sharp again. However i`m disappointed that Stan Wawrinka was beaten by Jurgen Meltzer. Plus the struggles continue for Jonathan Erlich and Andy Ram as they were beaten by one of the French Connection`s top teams, Arnaud Clement and Michael Llodra. I have to say that isn`t much of a surprise. Still i`m sad for our Israeli friends. Anyway now the round of 16 is set up for the men. The matches i`m most interested in is the James-Gilles match and the Nole-Misha match. First of all this will be a tough match for James, especially with the way Gilles has played lately. Still i expect him to come out strong. Plus it would be nice to see James play with some toughness like he did in the third set in his match just a few minutes ago. As for the Nole-Misha, i have to say that i`m a bit torn since i like both guys, but still i think that Nole should win this match, although i expect Misha to give him a nice tussle. __________________ Join the movement and vote for Dollhouse. | ooh..a repeat of 2004. Tomas better not win this time. Roger played a good match today. Couple of Unforced errors, a little inconsistent here and there, but there was no need to exert too much effort into this match, especially in these conditions. He was very nice to Arevalo at the net after the match too  I was disappointed by Stan's loss too It was nice to see him in the stands supporting Roger though, during his match. And he's not entirely finished. They have doubles..What happened to Davy? I must of missed when he got beaten. Nice to see Blake winning. And Misha. Im excited because Roger and Stan play Misha/Tursunov next in the doubles match __________________ ♥Vote Zach Quinto "If God played tennis, he'd play like Roger Federer." | |||
