Thanks for helping out on the update.
As mentioned earlier, Marin Cilic defeated Andy Murray in the men's final to win the Cincinnati Masters. In the women's singles final, Karolina Pliskova upset Angelique Kerber 6-3, 6-1. So that's the story from Cincinnati. This week's tournaments, which are currently in progress, are the Connecticut Open and the Winston Salem Open. In fact in New Haven yesterday, Jelena Ostapenko upset four time champion Caroline was upset by 7-5, 6-2. What a disappointment for Caro, who has really struggled this year. __________________

Here's an update from yesterday's finals.
First of all in Winston Salem, we got an all Spanish final where Pablo Carreno Busta defeated Roberto Bautista Agut 6-7(8), 7-6(7), 6-4 to win the Winston-Salem Open. Good win for Pablo Carreno Busta, who won his first title. In New Haven, Aga Radwanska defeated Elina Svitolina 6-1, 7-6(3) to win the Connecticut Open. So that's the story from yesterday's finals. Next up on the schedule will be the US Open. The final Grand Slam of the year gets underway tomorrow. Former champions Rafa, Marin Cilic and Svetlana Kuznetsova and Australian Open champion Angelique Kerber, Olympics women's singles gold medalist Monica Puig, French Open champion Garbine Muguruza will headline the afternoon session along with John, Caroline, Jo-Wilfried, Gael, Dominika Cibulkova, Milos Raonic, Richie and Petra Kvitova. Later on at Arthur Ashe Stadium, Nole will begin his quest for a third US Open title as he will take on Jerzy Janowicz. Then Madison Keys will face Alison Riske. Plus we'll have an all American matchup at Louis Armstrong Stadium as Jack Sock will play Taylor Fitz. Lastly here are a couple of pics of the new look Arthur Ashe Stadium with the retractable roof completed along with some pics of some of the stars around New York City. __________________

It's humid as hell, but I do not believe that causes delays. What happened? __________________

He was an incredible actor.
Anyone watch matches today? I saw some of Caroline's match & terrific comeback win her in set 1 & then ultimately winning the match later. Wish her well vs. Niculescu. Tough loss by Milos today. Hope he recovers fast. __________________
