I can`t believe what happened so far today with Rafa.

It`s still so shocking that he actually lost at Roland Garros and to Robin Soderling of all people. I don`t know what else to say other now things are very wide open on the men`s side. Andy Murray and Fernando Gonzalez won their matches in straight sets.

Rafa wasn`t the only champion to be dethroned today as Victoria Azarenka ended Ana`s reign as ladies` champion with a 6-3, 6-2 win. Vika played a nice solid match right from the start, while Ana was a mess out there. I`m very disappointed with how lackluster her play was today.

Next up for Vika will be Dinara Safina, who crushed hometown favorite Aravane Rezai 6-1, 6-0.

So that`s the story on what has been a very stunning day at Roland Garros so far.

I`m currently watching the taped delay broadcast on NBC and it`s shocking to see Rafa not in control of a match at Roland Garros. I feel for all of the Rafa fans here.

I think that this pic pretty much illustrates the day for him

and Ana.

However on a much better note, at least for me, Maria won another tough match today, beating Na Li 6-4, 0-6, 6-4.

Good job Maria.

I`m really proud of her for playing so well in these tough matches at RG. She has definitely exceeded my expectations with this great run she`s on, which has obviously added more excitement to the French Open.

Best of luck to Wozniak against Serena tomorrow. A Canadian girl hasn't been this far in so long, she came out victorious in their only previous meeting with Serena retiring in the second set.

BTW..has anyone watched Davydenko's matches? I havent seen any, but it looks like he's playing well.

What a tough win for Fed. It didn`t look good there for him early on, but once again he shows his championship toughness by turning up his game in the last three sets. So good win there for him.

On the other hand you`ve got to feel for Tommy Haas.

This is tough way for his best Grand Slam run in a while to end, especially after all the tough luck he has had in the last 2-3 years.

The Juan Del Potro-Jo-Wilfried is currently ongoing and Juan won the first set 6-1 and it`s 1-1 in the second set. I`m not liking what i`m seeing from Jo-Wilfried.

He`s not showing the great energetic style we usually see from him. Hopefully he can get it going starting in this second set.

What a tough loss for Jo-Wilfried.

I was really hoping that he could make a comeback, but unfortunately he couldn`t match Juan Del Potro`s good play.

Coming up next is the A-Rod-Gael match. I`m pretty torn about this matchup between two of my favorites. I hope that we`ll get a pretty good match there.
