| Poor Elena.  Hawk-eye's website itself states that the "system" has an average error of 3.6 mm. Surely *that* challenge, on break point Dementieva with her a set and 4-3 up, was closer than that. Dementieva isn't in the final basically because of a computer which made a call which might have been wrong. | I'm sorry for harping on about this, but I found the Dementieva-Williams match on Youtube, so I made a screengrab of that challenge - there's no way you can tell me that 3,6 millimeters, one way or the other, couldn't have changed the outcome. | I was going to feel terrible for whoever lost today so I do feel for Murray for now, it must be so hard for him, but I'm still so happy for Roddick as you can see how much it means to him to make it to the final. Such a great match. I'm really hoping he'll beat Federer, I'm not sure of the chances of it actually happening, but it would be nice to see Roddick at least making the match go to 4 or 5 sets. | |||
