Sports Roadtrips
Does anybody know of a good site for sports roadtrips? My son and I are wanting to take a trip to see some games.

Well, I've been to both Kansas City to see the Royals play the Twins. I had a great time there. And also to Miami to see the Twins play the Marlins. I had a great time there too. But as for Hockey, I'm not a big hockey fan and don't know of any sites. That would work around that.
I really recommend KC though for baseball. It's a good stadium and it's well kept. I'm really not sure if there's a bad seat in the house. Miami wasn't all that great of a stadium, it was a football stadium and was very uncomfortable to watch a baseball game. There was no real food selection either. I think the thing that made it the most fun was that there weren't a lot of people there so as a person like me who likes to get balls from players found it very easy to get a few. I hope this helps for the baseball side. |

This spring I went to Chicago and watched th Cubs and White Sox play.
I really enjoyed those 2 stadiums. My goal is to be able to see a game in every MLB stadium. But if you went to Chicago you could also see the Blackhawks play. __________________

I wouldn't mind seeing every MLB stadium.
The only roadtrip I've been on for sports is when I went to Atlanta to see the Braves back in 2010. It was Bobby Cox's last regular season game. __________________

Met Life stadium in New Jersey is a excellent place to go . Easy access and all the local hotels shuttle you to the stadium ! Also the NY Metro is right near the entrance __________________

I have seen many games (and concerts) there too. It is only about 40 minutes from where I live. __________________

If I go to Madison Square Garden for a game (or concert), I would usually take the train since the train lets you out right underneath the stadium and you just walk up the escalator to the Garden. It is such an easy commute.
