Its about time he gets some praise on here. lol

Like I said in another thread, I wish more people would give him a chance. It seems like many people forget he is ONLY 20 and is the youngest capt. in NHL history. He's pretty much learning as he goes. Each year he grows and becomes more mature. But he is ONLY 20 still....it takes time! He is the best player in the NHL and you really can't knock him for his talent.

Another thing, Sidney obviously is the face of the NHL. He didnt ask for it tho I get really upset when people say they are sick of seeing Sid all over the place and are blaming it on him. Its really not his fault. Its the newspapers who continue to write about him, its the NHL who continues to put his name and face out there. Absolutely he deserves to be the new face of the NHL but he didnt ask for it. Blame the NHL and they're marketing team, not Sid. Like I said before he's not Tony Romo, he's not out going to all these clubs and dating diffrent celebs. He dosent go out and crave the attention and ask for it. Sid lays low here in Pittsburgh, and when he does go out people give him the space he needs and they dont bombard him. I think thats why he likes playing here so much.

Audrina- I agree with everything you just said. He is only 20 years old and has had so much pressure on him ever since he was 16 years old. He has handle it so well, he never complains he just takes it all in stride. He is so mature and so poised. I cant think of one bad thing to say about him....he is clearly the face of the NHL and the best player in the league.

omg, i srsly thought no one would come here.
Im canadian and well a teenager so i think he's a pretty good looking guy, but its not even that.. he is what i think is safe to say the number1 hockey player right now and its nice to see it not get to his head. he's young and we see so many young stars and athletes take the wrong road and it really nice to see a young star work hard for his success and say i didnt take over night to get there. he is respected and loved for a reason.

Im just happy that I get the chance to see the next superstar play....I never really saw Gretzky because I was really young but now I get to see Crosby

Ya Im 17 so seeing Gretzky wasnt really an option for me

O.M.G it is like my dream to see Sid play live. One its gonna happen, im going to make it happen I live in Saskatchewan so the closes team is Edmonton and of course Pittsburgh only plays there like once every three years and it sells out. My dad tried to get tickets to that game, definatly didnt happen

Thanks for the videos, i love the road trip one. Haha I was excited when Sid fought, he sure did better than Greztky did in his first fight.
