| Aww, RyRy. I think it goes without saying I'd like to be added.  As much as the American commentators annoy me a lot of the time, I think it goes without saying that the way Rowdy Gaines spoke about Ryan during his heats the other day said a lot. Ryan really could've made excuses for his performance in the 400 IM since he was so, so sick, but instead he just said he gave it his all and praised Phelps. The only other athlete I've seen with that level of class, dignity, and respect for sport in these Games so far is Brendan Hansen. And that is fine company for Ryan to be in. | I was so happy that Ryan won the gold and then came around to win a bronze. I was cheering for him so loud in both races and I am so stroked with how well he did in both. Indian Summer.
