it is totally annoying.
I can't have more conversations about him. Yeah, the guy is an idiot with words sometimes but it is not his fault Rafa worn himself down and couldn't compete on high level on RG. It was clear by the last years who were the best players on Paris and what is done is done.
I am posting less and less there because I can't stand reading anything but this, Rafa's awful schedule and his knees. I am already broken with the reality, no need to make it worse.

I know! Isn't all there can be said has been said already?

THANK YOU FOR SAYING THIS!

It was Rafa that didn't make it. Unfortunately and heartbreakingly for us, but it was Rafa's end of the deal that wasn't fullfilled.

It obvious that it's only Rafa and Roger that can stop each other. I mean as far as majors are concerned.

I don't really know much about Rafa's schedule, but I'm hopefull about his health until I can see him myself. Awwww, honey, I'm sorry you are still affected about Rafa's loss. Yes, it's still stings alot, but for me, watching his past victories has helped alot.

yeah, it hurt, thanks C.
though it was easier to cope. I had the worst time of my life - affected by sports, surely - when he lost that fine on Wimbledon on 2007, so now I can take whatever it is. He already made history, won this dream tournament, is world #1, won a GS on HC (and I am sure he will complete the career GS). If he ends with 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 or 15 GS, good for him, he already accomplished way more than most people expected him to.

As for the knees and scheduling talk today I lost it and finally wrote two posts about it there. I used to the positive and supportive about his injuries and schedule but I don't feel all this confident anymore because he assumed his knees caused him to break mentally. Whatever is on his mind is also on his heart because he if he doesn't feel confident to move and play his game, so he is not happy with himself or either his situation. So I'd just wish him to stop for as long as he needs and truly heals his knees. We can't say how long it will take but it is something that can be healed so I think he shouldn't depend on how lucky he will be to keep winning or not while coping with injuries the best he can

So true.
And I agree, it would be better if he'd stop playing until he fully heals his knees. I'm not sure why is he forcing himself so much.
Anyway, he has proved his mental strength so many times, so I honestly believe that he'll be better in every way pretty soon.

In his official site he said he is back training... but he also said last Tuesday that he wouldn't step on a tennis court for two weeks
I don't really know what to think about it all
whatever, as long as he comes back on court, let it be what it is

There does seem to be some awfully conflicting messages lately. By design, maybe?

Wait and see. Yep. We shall certainly have too.

Flying under the radar seemed to have worked in Rafa favor during AO. Even as the defending champion, both he and Nole weren't/aren't the favorite. Fine. Let someone else deal with the pressure.

One more week. I'm both excited and dreading Wimbledon.

Exactly Christal. He doesn't need (and I think he doesn't like) the spotlight on him, so let him fly under the radar and grab it all again.

Nadal is a fantastic player of Tennis. But this time he has lost the match and he has been out of the tournament.

He especially doesn't need it right now with all that is going on in his personal life. Low/No expectation=Low/No Pressure. So, that's a good thing. I do wonder, though, what he expects of himself? I'm sure part of the Roland Garros disappointment was knowing in himself that he is better than that. Whatever happens at Wimbledon, I don't want him to leave there disappointed in himself or his efforts.

I know you don't care for him, Barbara, but I hope the same for Nole. I have noticed a decided...I don't know...de-frosting...between Rafael and Nole. Actually, since their Olympics match their relationship seems alot better. As my two favorite players, I'd love if Rafa could get the kind of respect and like he seems to have with Roger and Andy with Novak, too.

Speaking of Andy, I was watching Sky Sports News this morning, and poor boy. On and on and on about him winning Wimbledon now that he had won Queens. Didn't they do this very thing with him before AO? This is just putting unnecessary pressure on Andy again. I wish him well, also. He is third of four on my list of players I want to see win Wimbly.

Sky Sports News was going on and on about something Andy said, too. They said that with Andy having won seven million pounds playing tennis, that he didn't need to keep playing. Well, Andy, apparently, said that, he didn't play for money. He played for the love of tennis and competition. That, what movitated him, at first, was getting better than his older brother. Than it was getting on the level and knowing he could get the better of "..the likes of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal."

They seemed to be impressed by him not being movitated by money or fame but wanting and working so hard to be a better tennis player and wanting to compete on the highest level. Wow! That sounds remarkably like someone I've been a fan of for the past five years, now.

There are pics of Rafa practicing on Wimbly
Wimbledon's Photos - Rafael Nadal at practice | Facebook

Yeah Christal, overall I don't care about Nole but right now it is even more intense I don't care of any one on tennis but Rafa. I don't even read or talk about them
