I think Rafa played a good match (from what I watched)
I won't be able to watch his match tomorrow. I have an appointment, that I am seriously thinking about to bail.

Don't bail, B. Real life needs to be taken care of. I hope everything is well with you and yours.

Rafa's just walking on court. Can I say this is the first time I just can't look past what he's wearing. Seriously. To me it gets more and more ugly. Except for that lovely shade of something reminiscent of green. I can't post and watch him play. I'm way to nervous.

ETA: I'm relieved that was over in two. Now let's see if he can do this well against Ljubo and a top ten player. When Rafa wins over and how he does it; a top ten player that's the barometer that is going to tell truly, where he is.

actually it was a job interview that I wasn't interested in the job in the first place. The salary was less than 50% of my last paycheck... so I accept going as an obligation but I knew I wouldn't end up going, regardless of Rafa's match.

Today's match was a complete boredom, but I think Tommy is boring, so I am biased
Ivan tomorrow might be handful, I hope Rafa plays an aggressive tennis and not the boring defensive and passive tennis he played today

In total agreement with you there, Barbara. Rafa vs Ljubo. Nervous. I have a feeling we will be in for another thrilling three setter.

Me too. And I hope he'll play aggressive tomorrow too.

I keep hearing Paris and London. I know the WTF are in London but what tournament is in Paris?

Yes, Jelena, I'm crossing my fingers that he will choose to wear something else for the next couple of events. At least we know he looks great in his Spanish colors for the DC.

It's the Paris Bercy Masters tournament. I think it starts on November 8th.

And yes, love him in Spanish colors

Oh, thanks, J!

Do you know how big the field is going to be for that event?

And I guess Roger will be playing. I was wondering why would he want to go into WTF not having played a tournament since USO.

I'd like to think Rafa having match play over the last few weeks will be some kind of advantage.

Hey Lennie

Christal, here are some facts about the tournament - Paris Masters. I had to look it up because the only thing i remember from last year is that Tsonga won the tournament.

Sweet! Thanks for stopping by, Lennie! It's always great to see more Rafa fans. Even if they are not the regular posting kind of fans. He's got fans out here that love and are devoted to him. Right now, he needs all the support he getting.

Thanks, Jelena. I'm watching my baseball team lose right now. I will check out the link after the game. Oh, my goodness, I'm so depressed right now.

I like Bercy for some odd reason - as it is indoor HC and it does no good to Rafa but I still like it

Hi there, Lennie, welcome

I should go sleep if I plan to watch tomorrow's match

What in a ever-loving gobstopper what THAT?!!!

I can't even comment on this match; I'm so pissed! And he only won because Ljubo retired! I really need to stop there.

^^ seriously?
I think he played a great second set and had everything to replay it in the third.
It wasn't an awful first set, he was defensive (as always) and Ivan had a great serve but Rafa wasn't playing so bad.
He stepped up the level and aggressiveness in the second and played a great set
But we can agree that we disagree
