Poll of the Day: What is the Worst Team to be a Fan of?

I used to do this back in the day, and thought it would be fun to bring out again. Like ESPN.com's polls, I will post a question every few days that pertains to a topic in sports. All you need to do is post your answer, without giving reasons behind your choice. If you want to discuss the question or support your answer, feel free to do so. It's not necessary, though. This is a cool way to get to know everyone better and gain a better idea of the overall views at this board. So please join in.

Question: What is the Worst Team to be a Fan of?

A. Chicago Cubs
B. Detroit Lions
C. Los Angeles Clippers
D. Montreal Expos
E. Detroit Tigers
F. Cincinnati Bengals

Being a die-hard Cubs fan, my answer is fairly obvious.

Last time the Cubs appeared in the World Series: 1945.

Last time the Cubs won the World Series: 1908.

Need I say more?

Montreal Expos

Having been a 'Spos fan briefly, it was hard seeing an all-star team, and know not a single player would be staying.

Are there any Montreal Expos fans actually out there?

If there are, I definitely feel for them. Not only has their team deserted town and changed names, but they had to watch the Expos serve as a minor league outpost for the rest of MLB. Man, just think about the number of All-Star caliber players they had over the years! Pedro Martinez, Randy Johnson, Larry Walker, Moises Alou, Jose Vidro, Orlando Cabrera, Javier Vazquez, John Wetteland, and the list goes on and on.

The Colorado Rockies, love the team, but they haven't been to the playoffs since 95.

Hmm...I’m surprised you didn’t go with the Nuggets. Despite last season’s playoff appearance, this is a franchise that has seen a lot more heartache than fortune over the years. Plus, they have been around much longer than the Colorado Rockies.

It’s a good pick, though.

It's gotta be the Washington Generals! They're winless and have yet to beat their nemesis the Harlem Globetrotters.

On a more serious note, I think it'd suck to be an Atlanta Braves fan. Yes, they've won their division for the last 13 years, but come playoff time they always lose (except that one year when they won it all). You'd think that a team that is in the playoffs year after year would have more titles to show for it.

Yeah, but it sucks watching other expansion teams like Arizona and Florida win a World Series and the Rockies still waiting to make it there.

F. When the Bengals were good, Joe Montana was in the way. And after that, things went downhill quickly - I'll just remind you that the Bungles moniker was there for a reason. We're on our way back to respectability, and perhaps playoffs are realistic next year, but we're still a long way away from a Super Bowl. I'd also like to nominate the Ottawa Senators, since those damn Leafs are always beating us come playoff time.

The Chicago White Sox. I'm obsessed with them, but they have done nothing but disappoint.

The now former Montreal Expo's. If they would of kept the talent they had over the years they could of been unstoppable.

Reguarding the beloved Cubbies, with them you always know they will break your heart somehow....................
