all star game last night in Nashville . Where the NHL had to try and save face . ending up a game where everyone cheered for the NHL biggest goon . Yeah the fans in Phoenix overloaded the ballot box to get jon Scott as All star.

Frankly the two game of 3 on the was fun , the skills compititon was fun to watch

it was a tremendous all star game weekend. I'm so glad of hometown hero Dylan Larkin breaking records!

Yeah Scott played well. I'm happy for him. Was nice to see Dan Sedin score a goal in yesterday's game as well & the Pacific Division win.

Hard to cheer for a guy who basic skill is to hurt others .
Anyway i agree the NHL tried there best not to have him in the All Star game . I find it hard to believe that the Montréal Canadiens asked to have John Scott traded to them and then send him to the minors . Arizona is looking to move , this may have been the NHL asking to trade Scott . Arizona complies , they need the NHL's approval on the future for where they hope to move the team . A lot of this comes from Scott's own post .

Dennis Weidman was suspended 20 games fior cross checking a linesman during a game about a week ago . He had just been checked hard skated to his bench , linesman was standing there.

Is a 20 game suspension the norm for something like that? Sounds kind of harsh to me.

Normally that doesn't happen to referees, though it does seem harsh to me too.

Boston Bruins had a nice OT win last night with a Penalty shot buy Brad Marchand .. some argue a team would rather have the 2 min PP then a penalty shot . I said it depends on who is taking the shot .

I want to say it could be a tie for this house. Although I think I hear more for hockey games.

Although I feel like most of the yelling is something to deal with his fantasy teams.
