| NFL Week 12: Pick the Winners (Deadline: Thurs., Nov. 25, 11:30 AM EST) Hey NFL fans!  The "Pick the Winners" game returns for its fifth season at this board. For those who have played before, you know how the drill goes. Newcomers: this is a fun and easy game to play. For each week of the regular season, all you have to do is pick which team you think will win each match-up and then place a point value on that game. For example, there are 16 games in Week 12, and it is your job to allocate points from the game you are most confident in (16 pts.) to the game you view as a toss-up (1 pt.). Therefore, points will be allotted in decreasing value from 16, 15, 14...all the way down to 1. *Remember, you CAN'T place the same point value on more than one game.* At the end of each week, we will tally up the number of points each participant has earned based on correct predictions, and the person with the most overall points at that time will be crowned winner. We will also keep track of the weekly winners to determine the season champion. Sound simple? | Uh oh! I don't have the best season-to-date record any more! I'm gonna have to buckle down (a little luck wouldn't hurt, either). Poor Carlos! Guy picks 15 of 16 games correctly and DIDN'T win the week. He's gotta be thinking "What the hell do I have to do to win this thing?!?" | Damn, everyone kicked ass last week! Congrats to Kathie for finally winning one! But I never would have thought that a 15-1 record would only get you second place. Man, that's a tough way to lose. With the early start this week, I have a feeling that things may not be as good this week (at least for me). I usually like reading what all the "experts" have to say about certain games before I make my picks. I'm going on my gut this week.
