NFL Pick The Winners Thread 2009 Week 9(Deadline: SUNDAY, Nov. 8th, 1pm ET)

Welcome to the tenth season of the NFL “Pick the Winners” game here at the Sports board! For those who have played this game before, you know how the drill goes. If you are new to the game, it’s pretty simple. During each week of the season, there will be a thread posted with that week’s slate of games. It is your job to pick the winner of each match-up and place a point value on it. This week there are 13 games on the schedule. You would allocate your points from the game you are most confident in (13 pts.) to the game you view as a toss-up (1 pt.). *You may not place the same point value on more than one game. It should be in decreasing value from 13 to 1.*

At the conclusion of each week, we will add up the total points and crown a “Pick the Winners” champion. Over the course of the season, we will keep a list of the weekly champions and a running point total for each participant. At the end of the season, the person(s) with the highest point total and/or most weekly championships will be crowned the season winner. Sounds pretty simple, right? So, join in! If you have any questions, feel free to ask here.

Remember, you must have your picks posted by the deadline listed, so make sure to double-check to make sure your picks are correct before then.

Also, this is the last week for a while with a Sunday afternoon deadline. The NFL starts with the Thursday night games next week, so the threads will start early(usually on Sunday nights) with Thursday night deadlines.

I'll be away until Sunday and don't have time to pick properly now, so give me all the hometeams from 13 to 1 in the order they're listed.

There's no way I'll ever catch up to the top so I guess I'll just do this for the fun of it. Although it's more fun if you're near the top. I wonder if moving screwed up everything. Guess I'll find out next season.

Anyways...

Chicago- 1
Atlanta- 13
Cincinnati- 7 (Didn't these two teams just play?!)
Green Bay- 11
Indianapolis- 12
Jacksonville- 10
New England- 8
New Orleans- 3
Seattle- 4 (Another toliet bowl game!)
New York Giants- 5
San Francisco- 2 (After seeing Indy struggling with the 49ers I have to pick the 49ers.. Although I hope to be wrong!)
Philadelphia- 9
Denver- 6
