NFL Pick The Winners Thread 2009 Week 3(Deadline: SUNDAY, September 27th, 1pm ET)

Welcome to the tenth season of the NFL “Pick the Winners” game here at the Sports board! For those who have played this game before, you know how the drill goes. If you are new to the game, it’s pretty simple. During each week of the season, there will be a thread posted with that week’s slate of games. It is your job to pick the winner of each match-up and place a point value on it. This week there are 16 games on the schedule. You would allocate your points from the game you are most confident in (16 pts.) to the game you view as a toss-up (1 pt.). *You may not place the same point value on more than one game. It should be in decreasing value from 16 to 1.*

At the conclusion of each week, we will add up the total points and crown a “Pick the Winners” champion. Over the course of the season, we will keep a list of the weekly champions and a running point total for each participant. At the end of the season, the person(s) with the highest point total and/or most weekly championships will be crowned the season winner. Sounds pretty simple, right? So, join in! If you have any questions, feel free to ask here.

Remember, you must have your picks posted by the deadline listed, so make sure to double-check to make sure your picks are correct before then.

After Week 2, here's the current season standings:

Shaolin: 219 pts.(24-8)
XChris76X: 205 pts. (24-8)
Red Rooster: 204 pts.(23-9)

You don't think the Steelers will let you down again? I wouldn't bet on it. Go Carson Palmer & Ocho Cinco!

You put a lot of points on them, but if they lose, Bengals will probably make playoffs.

I`m not fully sure about the Steelers and Saints, but i`m more so about the Eagles, especially since the Chiefs lost to the Raiders.
