I'm more of an NFL fan than college football, so today is a great day!

The season couldn't start off any better than with the Bears' greatest rivals: the Cheeseheads! Here's hoping that Cutler can start off the new era with a win.

Smith is a sure starter, so is Houshmandzadeh. My indecision is between TO and Ochocinco has my third starter.

Louis: you should of at least keep the "NFL Discussion" part of the thread title.

The Madden curse strikes again with Troy Polamalu having to leave the game in the 2nd quarter with a knee injury.

Polamalu will be out 3 to 6 weeks so far, according to ESPN.

If the Madden curse is for real, is Larry Fitzgerald next? I say Patrick Willis decapitates him in the next game.

Yep Madden curse lives on. Seriously scary how that happens every year. If I was a player I would be afraid to be on the cover of Madden

Great game last night to kickoff the season. First game and it goes to OT very nice. Hines Ward better thank his lucky stars for the Steelers still winning that game.

That was a nice little taste of the some NFL football now bring on Sunday

looks like the NFL commissioner will have to decide on Patriots Oakland deal Since Richard Seymour isn't reporting to Oakland and Oakland sent a 5 day report letter or he wont be eligible to play and have to pay like 1.5 million of his pay for the season back. To whom the compensation goes to is the question . Patriots claim the deal is done and Oakland signed off on the deal .

Hey i am not sad for Troy being he plays for AFC team that won the Superbowl and our (New England rival ) I am sure Pittsburgh fans jumped for joy when Brady went down last year . Our first superbowl win came over Pittsburgh and the way the fans treated Patriots hanging then Pats QB, Drew bledsoe dummy in effigy outside stadium before AFC title game in 2001 .. So zero sympathy for him ....
