NFL Pick the Winners Week 5: Deadline Thursday October 8th @ 8:20 P.M. EST

Welcome to the 21st season of the NFL "Pick the Winners" game here at the sports board! For those who have played this game before, you know how the drill goes. If you are new to the game it's pretty simple. During each week of the season, there will be a thread posted with that week's slate of games. It is your job to pick the winner of each match-up and place a point value on it. This week there are 16 games on the schedule. You would allocate your points from the game you are most confident in (16 pts.) to the game you view as a toss up (1 pt.) * You may not place the same point value on more than 1 game. It should be decreasing value from 16 to 1.*

At the conclusion of each week, we who add up the total points, and crown a "Pick The Winners" champion. Over the course of the season, we will keep a list of the weekly champions & a running points total &/or most weekly championships will be crowned the season winner. Sounds pretty simple right? So join in! If you have any questions feel free to ask them here.

Remember you must have your picks in by the posted deadline listed, so make sure to double-check to make sure you are correct before then. Also, once the deadline passes, your picks are locked in.

Really important to get picks in before the deadline each week the entire season, as the NFL expanded the Thursday Night schedule to almost the entire season.

If you miss Thursday's deadline or double pick the same game, only that pick will not count.

Again, double-check your picks to make sure that you have all the teams you want to pick & the numbers 1 to 16.

Weekly Winners:

Week 1: NOLA504
Week 2: Hot Rod
Week 3: The Survivor
Week 4: canflam

Thanks for that news. Lots of penalties in this Bucs/Bears game today. Chicago has the lead early in the 4th quarter.

That was an unusual ending to the Bucs/Bears game. Logan is the only 1 of us to have picked Chicago to win it. They did & he got 8 points from it. It was a tough pick for me, but Foles did not play particularly well last week & I thought that Tampa has a better roster, but was not expecting those penalties by them. I think that & Chicago's defence of course was what did Tampa in.

Yeah I wasn't expecting that out come at all, definitely considering it an upset.

Brady can’t deal with a Offense line It keeps getting penalties while trying to get a winning drive.
Take the Patriots Denver game off the board, The game has been canceled

Yea that pretty much nixes the points people had for that game. Sucks, I think this is just gonna be a season long thing.

Anyways, Raiders upset the Chiefs in Arrow Stadium. I believe I am the only one who went with Las Vegas to win.
