Denver it was gusty call but the game should have been over in the 4th. Broncos lacked killer instinct . Ben was hurting and Steelers hurting bad . Healthy Ben would have won .

I hate the new playoff OT rule the NFL started for two reasons:

1) There was no reason to change the rule
2) The NFL made a half-assed change to the rule

How hard is it to say both teams get one possession regardless of whether you score a touchdown or field goal and if it's still tied, next score wins?

Denver would have still won anyway under the old rule.

I don't understand why they don't adopt something similar to (but more tailored to the NFL game) what the NCAA does.

I never liked the new OT rule. Never.

I hate the NCAA OT rule, too, mainly because they're already in field goal range to start with.

New rule has it so if you score only a FG the other team gets it back . TD rule is good. Denver took advantage went for it all .
Also the fastest OT win in the playoffs

That's why I said similar, but tailored to the NFL game.

Don't put them already in FG position; put them at their own 20 or even just have the opposition kick off to start a drive.
