I know, what will wake these guys up? What happened to the team that had the highest batting average this year?

I wish them good luck in this next round but they need to get those bats to wake up if they want to get to the World Series.

Losing Jeter tonight pretty much destroys this team's chances this series.

They don't have enough hitting as it is... I want to be wrong, but it's just not going to happen.

I agree with Bianca, I want to have faith that they can pull off this series with a win but it's just not looking like they will and that's really sad. This team is terrible hitting wise and I don't think they'll make it to the World Series this year unfortunately.

At least Cano made history -- his 0-25 (so far!) is the longest 0fer streak in playoff history.

I didn't watch very much baseball all season . But when Football is on only 3 times a week and no NHL, i need some late night sports . Not watching NL only Al.

0-2 wouldn't be insurmountable, Matt, if they weren't so hideously awful offensively right now.

They overachieved a bit in the regular season in that department, so I wasn't expecting greatness in the playoffs, but they've just taken it to a whole new level of terrible no one could have seen coming. I honestly have no idea how they even beat the Os like this or scored 7 runs that one game.

yes Bianca, looking back back to Red sox Yankees 2004 ALCs, after Game 3 crushing defeat down 3-0 I ,huge sox fan, I was tapping out . We made history won 4 in a row .

I think after all these late games loss of Jeter ,no time adjust . We shall see game 3 in Detroit .

Saw lots of mental errors on Yankees part , as i said adjustment re group see if they come out strong tuesday.

Yeah, they didn't come out strong.

Of course they had to go be brutal teases in the 9th before caving in, but even that wasn't surprising.
