What? How? Lucky! *jealous me* I tried to get tickets... but, that just wasn't happening. I prefer to sit in the Bleachers (I'm biased against anywhere else, "box seats suck!", oh well), but I couldn't even afford that. I know there were issues with sales for season ticket holders, so, that may have been part of it.

Definitely good to see CC succeed game 1 and have ARod break out of that postseason slump.

I was happy for Matsui too. Most people thought he was done (including me)... and he continues to show he isn't.

The client my dad had given his tickets to couldn't go and he's out on the west coast right now, so I was "gifted" them at around 5:30 PM and ended up missing the intros. Anyway, it won't likely be happening again for me, no matter how far they go this year.

An absurd number of people there were business comp and really the only time it felt like Yankee Stadium should feel in October was after Jeter hit the HR. There was a strong buzz when Joba came in as a reliever too, I suppose, much to my annoyance.

In the postgame they mentioned the lack of energy in the Stadium as well mentioning the same thing as you, the only real noise being made after Jeter's homer. It's a shame, but, hopefully game 2 will be a different story.

Maybe the crowd wasn't excited and didn't feel like cheering. I'm so glad they won it was a great game.

It did seem rather tame from what I saw on tv

I hope the crowd is more into it tomorrow for AJ. We need that homefield advantage. Get wild!

I cried. Like, literally teared up when Arod hit the tying homerun. I was screaming and jumping around like a crazy woman. Amazing moment!
