We have the greatest Dominican pitcher ever, the 2006 MVP to be, a freak at short and a pimp in Center and a flamethrower in the 'pen. Sprinkle in a florida castoff, a rookie with an award to win and a whole city sick of some bums always representing the city and state and choking and you will see what I see. | Pete is 5-0 with another great outting vs Atlanta. The Smoltz/Martinez matches are always great. Larry got one, but the 2006 MVP got 2. Glavine goes tomorrow. __________________ Edited for content. | Let's go Mets! I'm really optimistic for this year. Things seem to be getting tense (just from the last Atlanta game) and I don't want to see them crumble because they're taking themselves too seriously. | Quietly dominating the majors this season. We have been getting solid performances from every spot in the lineup, the only worry has been a couple of bad outtings by Wags. And it looks like the game today just went final, we just finished a 3 game sweep of second place Philadelphia. __________________ Edited for content. | The best thing about the Mets dropping the first 2 vs Baltimore... Philly and Atlanta both last as well. Illtown won today, but the Braves are already behind Schilling 1-0 on a PaPi boom boom.
