I just want Milt to get his fair shot to be an impact player! My man can play.

Those Candadians are going to love him.

You think so, EH?

Well, I wish the Miltster lots of luck! He's going to need it playing for that team.

Y'all better not jump back on the Vinsanity bandwagon if he returns to his old form (ie. taking it to the hole and just rippin' the rims off). The bandwagon will be making no stops for the haters. Anyone trying to hop back on will get their ass run over!

BTW, here's a little predicition for all of you. Chris Bosh will win Rookie of the Year! Just remember where you heard it first. He's been tearing it up in summer league.

Chris Bosh for ROY? That skinny, little twig?!!

Now I know Shaolin is really intoxicated by the purple stuff. Even if Bosh puts up halfway decent numbers, there’s no way he is going to win the award over LeBron, Darko or Melo. It’s all about hype, baby!

Jump back on the Vinsanity bandwagon? Puh-lease! As if I ever got on. Isn’t it sad? Mr. Cah-tah has become an afterthought in just a few years. Can you help a brother?

Maybe he should stick to working hard in the off-season than going up against ridiculous purple dinosaurs in Gatorade commercials. But, then again, even Barney could take Vince to the hole and SCORE!!!

LeBron will crack under all the pressure. Darko won't get enough touches in Detroit. Melo doesn't have enough talent around him, plus Denver plays out West. That leaves my man, Chris Bosh. He's the inside presence the Raptors have been missing ever since Keon (another "skinny twig") left. I expect Bosh to surprise people next year. Remember Amare Stoudamire?

Yes, I do. But I don’t think Stoudemire’s production was that big of a surprise. He already had an NBA body coming out of HS. Granted, a lot of people expected Ming to take ROY honors but Stevie Franchise didn’t pass the ball nearly enough to get him involved in the offense.

Which is why he will probably post the best numbers and win the award. He'll be the "man" for Denver. It usually comes down to that. Because of this, it will probably be a close race between Melo and LeBron (he won't be able to live up to expectations, but he'll post solid numbers). There’s no way Bosh is going to get enough touches to seriously challenge for ROY. Toronto’s offense would have to drastically change and Vince would have to be on the shelf for that to occur.

Besides, summer league stats usually don’t mean squat. Lonny Baxter is currently tearing it up in the Rocky Mountain Revue, averaging 25 ppg. Do I see him doing much this season? No way! The same thing happened with Zack Randolph last year and look what happened.

ROY is largely based on playing time and opportunity. I don’t see Bosh surpassing a few of this year’s rookies in either category.

That's not a bad move for the Mavs, they need some muscle down there and Thomas can provide that. Not sure about Ward though...he's on his way out if you ask me.

The keyword here is "if"...and don't worry about me either, getting on that bandwagon Carter will probably be pushing himself!!

The Indianapolis TV news was full of Pollard pictures last night.
Pollard with blonde spikey hair; Pollard with short dark hair; Pollard looking like Abraham Lincoln.

The CEO, Donny W. said they couldn't keep Brad Miller because they couldn't match the offers he received from Utah, Colorado, & Kings. Brad wanted to stay in Indiana, but he had better offers out west.

We'll have to see what happens.
I'm still upset that they traded Antonio Davis and Jalen Rose.

I agree Melo will probably put up the best numbers.

But Lebron is going to be really good by mid-season, I wouldn't bet against him!

I really haven't seen Bosh play much at all, so I won't give any opinion. He is probably too skinny to play down low much, so his outside game better be on. Isn't he only 210 lbs?

Vince for Kobe??

Don't worry. Vince is only taking Kobe's spot for the Olympic qualifier. I swear, I nearly ***** my pants when I read the headline.

And about what I said about Melo not having enough talent around him. I might have to take that back. I was looking at the depth charts for NBA teams, and Denver isn't too bad (although their depth is kinda bad).

DENVER NUGGETS:
Starter Backup
PG Andre Miller, Shammond Williams(?), Lorinza Harrington
SG Rodney White, Vincent Yarbrough, Predrag Savovic
SF Carmelo Anthony, Ryan Bowen, Donnell Harvey(?)
PF Marcus Camby, Nikoloz Tskitishivili
C Nene Hilario, Chris Anderson(?)

And here's some teams out East that give me some hope:

NEW JERSEY NETS
Starter Backup
PG Jason Kidd, Zoran Planinic
SG Kerry Kittles, Lucious Harris
SF Richard Jefferson, Rodney Rogers
PF Kenyon Martin, Aaron Williams
C Jason Collins, Alonzo Mourning, Dikembe Mutombo

PHILADELPHIA 76ERS
Starter Backup
PG Eric Snow, John Salmons
SG Allen Iverson, Greg Buckner
SF Glenn Robinson, Aaron McKie
PF Kenny Thomas, Sam Clancy
C Derrick Coleman(?), Marc Jackson, Amal McCaskill

WASHINGTON WIZARDS
Starter Backup
PG Gilbert Arenas, Juan Dixon, Steve Blake
SG Larry Hughes, Jarvis Hayes
SF Jerry Stackhouse, Jared Jeffries
PF Kwame Brown, Christian Laettner
C Brendan Haywood, Etan Thomas

CHICAGO BULLS
Starter Backup
PG Jamal Crawford, Kirk Hinrich, Roger Mason, Jay Williams (hurt)
SG Jalen Rose, Trenton Hassell
SF Scottie Pippen, Donyell Marshall, Eddie Robinson, Tommy Smith
PF Tyson Chandler, Marcus Fizer, Lonny Baxter, Mario Austin
C Eddy Curry, Dalibor Bagaric

CLEVELAND CAVALIERS
Starter Backup
PG LeBron James, Kevin Ollie
SG Ricky Davis, Dajuan Wagner
SF Darius Miles, Ira Newble, Jason Kapono
PF Carlos Boozer, Chris Mihm
C Zydrunas Ilgauskas, DaSagana Diop

DETROIT PISTONS
Starter Backup
PG Chauncey Billups, Chucky Atkins
SG Richard Hamilton, Carlos Delfino, Hubert Davis
SF Tayshaun Prince, Corliss Williamson
PF Darko Milicic, Zelijka Rebraca, Cliff Robinson
C Ben Wallace, Mehmet Okur

TORONTO RAPTORS (you know I had to add them )
Starter Backup
PG Alvin Williams, Milt Palacio, Lindsey Hunter
SG Vince Carter, Chris Jeffries
SF Morris Peterson, Lamond Murray
PF Jerome Williams, Chris Bosh, Michael Bradley
C Antonio Davis, Jerome Moiso, Mengke Bateer, Mamadou N'diaye

Vince for Kobe?

The funny thing about that story is that Vince wasn’t the Olympic committee’s first or even second choice to replace Kobe on the roster. Instead, they asked two “rejects” (I use this term loosely) from last year’s disappointing Team USA squad, Shawn Marion and Paul Pierce, to play and they both turned down the offer. Wasn’t Vinsanity also an injury replacement on the 2000 Olympics squad? Damn! It’s kind of sad how much his stock has fallen in the eyes of many NBA fans and team officials.

NBA.com has released its preseason rankings of all 29 teams. Check it out.

The Raptors are ranked only at No. 26, four spots behind the Bulls. No respect, no respect at all! I think whoever made these rankings is a little whack when it comes to putting Milwaukee at No. 20. With that roster, the Bucks are going to blow chunks next year. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them have the worst record in the league. No way are they better than half the teams they are ranked ahead.

Na.ah.ah.... Zarko Cabarkapa will surprised all of you, by winning that for Phoenix, just like Amared did it last year.

Afterall, Suns is always good in spotting and developing young players....only to trade them later when they become supertar.... *sigh*

Cabarkapa for ROY!

Check out this article.

It's hilarious to read about the competitive nature of some of the Western Conference GMs and their game of one-upsmanship. I especially laughed at the comment about R.C. Buford's "inappropriate gesture" to LA's Mitch Kupchak upon signing Robert Horry.

This stuff is great!
