Yes it is. I'm not a huge fan of people switching coaches a lot. It's hard to get good results if you have a coach that doesn't you know.

Nathan was in Japan recently and more recently he was in Montreal working with Marie-France and Sam Chouinard. No one is exactly sure what he was there for.

Hmm. I'm interested to know.

I believe that Nathan was in Montreal working on his long program for this upcoming season choreographed by Marie-France and Sam Choinard. His short program this upcoming season will be choreographed by Shae-Lynn Bourne.

Also the Grand Prix assignments for this upcoming season were announced and Nathan will competing at Skate America and Internationaux de France.

Also an update on Nathan's college plans. Will be attending Yale but his coach Raf won't be going with him. Which makes sense because he coaches many other skaters. Apparently Nathan is going to train on his own. Not sure how much of a good idea that is.

I'm not surprised about his coach not going, but I'm surprised about training on this own. That sounds disastrous.

I totally agree. I mean even the best skaters need a coach. I guess we'll see how this whole thing will play out.

Yeah, Nathan is a good skater, but he still needs work to be better. A good coach can help him with that.

I totally agree. Even the best athletes at anything need a coach. Maybe Nathan will have a secondary coach who will with him at Yale.

hate to say it, but maybe he needs to have a "bad" skate. Then he'll see the need for a coach. Some have to learn from mistakes.
