MLB Fantasy Discussion Part II: the Push for the Season Two Championship Is On!!!

Continue the discussion here.

Nikki- You have the top-two spots? Nice job! I hope you're able to keep it up for the rest of the season. I'll root for you since my teams are in the cellar.

Have any players significantly helped or hurt anyone's teams lately? Let's hear about them. We feel your pain.

Kat thanks. I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep it up because I start college tomorrow and I won't have the time to keep up. Buts its been nice.

As far as today I'm think of trading for Willis because 2 teams creeping on me have him, if he does good, I can neutralize the score... If he does bad, I have nothing to lose since they'll lose too.

Vance Wilson? I take it that you got him on the cheap.

Nikki- That’s not a bad strategy. But if you don’t pick up Dontrelle and he sucks, that will only help your lead, especially if you have a different pitcher doing well. It can work either way, though. The Marlins are in the wild card race, so maybe Dontrelle will kick it up a gear and continue to kick ass. Btw, good luck with college!

That's exactly what I was thinking. I usually try to find a pitcher no one else has. That way, I'm the only who benefits if he has a big game.

I just looked at my teams and my Canadian Crippler team could have a big day. All three of my pitchers are going (Pedro, Colon, Hentgen) which could mean another 300+ point night. But then again, I could also get screwed and get hit with a big minus.

Well, had to go, didn't trade for Willis. I have no pitchers for the "WWJD" team but I traded for one for "Spike Me"

Anyway, good luck to you guys.

Thanks Kat. I'm excited!

Shaolin is nice to have you around often!

ROCKSTAR: I got a question for ya. What's WWJD stand for? I've always wondered that when I look at the standings.

Heh. Sorry...

I remember how popular the "WWJD" bracelets used to be a few years ago. Maybe they still are. I've noticed that some NBA players still wear them during games.

Okay. Now I see how your team is on top. You got Jesus Christ on your side.

I kept thinking it had something to do with the Yankees. Something like World War Jeter Derek, or What in the World is Jeter Doing.

What the hell is going on with Dontrelle? He lasted only 2 innings and got roughed up by, of all teams, the Dodgers.

First the Cubs, now the Dodgers.

Dontrelle screwed a lot of us over tonight. Nikki, this is exactly why I’d advise you not to go with a player everyone else has. It can really come back to haunt you.

Bartolo Colon is having a shaky outing, too. Typical! It doesn’t look like Shaolin’s pitchers are going to help him out tonight.
