Hope I'm wrong, but not feeling it for my Yankees this year right now.
If they can't do it though, I'm not against the Braves sending Cox out on top. |

You`re pretty pessimistic about your beloved Yankees Bianca. We all know that they will turn up their level of play like they usually do in October, especially against the Twins.
As for my beloved Braves` chances, i like them being in the underdog role. If they can get plenty of good pitching and timely hitting, then i like their chances. I really hope that they will do well and give Bobby Cox a nice sendoff. I`m really proud of the guys for making it back to the playoffs for the first time since 2005, especially with it being the Skipper`s final season. __________________

I'm thrilled to see the Rays take the AL East champion spot!

Yankees have pretty big pitching issues right now and their offense isn't quite what it has been in years past... though they're certainly due for the hot streak required for playoff success, after that September.

Ugh! I'm stuck at work today when I should be down in St. Pete at the Trop for the Rays game! Stupid work.

Doc Halladay pitched about the best game i`ve ever seen a pitcher throw in a postseason game by throwing a no-hitter today, which is the second one ever in the postseason.
He was absolutely in a groove right from the start and completely dominated the Reds. Also the Rangers defeated the Rays 5-1 and the Twins are currently leading the Yankees 3-0 in the fourth inning. __________________

Halladay's a beast.
Lee looked great too, against the Rays. |

We've had the top seed in the AL lose twice at home, the Yankees continue their domination of the Twins, two great pitching performances in the NL, including a no-hitter and the biggest story from the first two days of the playoffs is....the umpiring.
Not good MLB. Not good at all. __________________

Yeah it is one of the most surprising WS pairings with the Rangers and Giants in it. It is such a tough call to predict a winner in this series. Of course i have to say that i`m glad that the Rangers ended the Yankees` reign of terror last night. It is great comfort for fans like myself whose teams has had their championship dreams dashed by them over the years. Plus i must add that the ALCS ended in great style with A-Rod striking out.

What's an A's fan to do? Root for division rival in the Rangers or Bay Area rival in the Giants? Or just pretend it never happened like Fox and ESPN eventually will? And will someone please tell Ryan Howard to protect the plate?

I think I want the Giants to win. I've grown very fond of Lincecum lately. __________________

Everyone I know had the Phillies as the lock of the century And oddly enough, of the dozen or so Yankee fan friends I have, only 1 was confident they'd win it all/get to the Series. It's like they had 0 confidence in anyone besides Sabathia and Rivera.
Personally, I'm going with the Rangers due to Vlad, but the Giants key guys not named Lincecum are Miami Hurricanes, soooooo... umm, I dunno, who cares I guess. Go Vlad! __________________
