Glad that you like the new thread. I wanted to decorate the OP as best as possible to give everyone some facts about Nole along with achievements and to honor his relationships with his family, compatriots and Jelena. Plus i`m going to do something for Nole and Rafa`s relationship, mainly for the Nole/Rafa fans here.

Anyway here are some more Nolena pics along with a pic of Nole with Marko and Djordje.

Glad that you like the pics.

Here is the draw for the Serbia Open:

[1] Novak Djokovic (SRB) bye
Fabio Fognini (ITA) - Qualifier
Qualifier - [WC] Filip Krajinovic (SRB)
Horacio Zeballos (ARG) - [7] Janko Tipsarevic (SRB)

[3] Sam Querrey (USA) bye
Evgeny Korolev (KAZ) - Michael Russell (USA)
Igor Andreev (RUS) - Blaz Kavcic (SLO)
[WC] Dusan Lajovic (SRB) - [5] Ivo Karlovic (CRO)

[6] Viktor Troicki (SRB) - Ivan Navarro (ESP)
Karol Beck (SVK) - Florent Serra (FRA)
[WC] Marko Djokovic (SRB) - Qualifier
[4] Stanislas Wawrinka (SUI) bye

[8] Andreas Seppi (ITA) - Leonardo Mayer (ARG)
Olivier Rochus (BEL) - Richard Gasquet (FRA)
Qualifier - Josselin Ouanna (FRA)
[2] John Isner (USA) bye

While Nole will be the favorite, i have to say that he will have a much tougher road to defend the title with his good friends Janko Tipsarevic and Viktor Troicki along with Sam Querrey, Dr. Ivo, Stan Wawrinka and John Isner presenting tough challenges. I really hope that Nole along with Marko will do well in Belgrade this week.

While i`m on the subject of Marko, he has just started his first round doubles match. Hopefully he will do well in it.

Anyway here are some pics of Nole at his press conference along with some practice pics.

I don't see another option than Nole winning. It won't be so easy, but
Can't wait to see matches, i have such a good memories from last Serbia Open

I also can`t wait to see Nole`s matches in Belgrade. Hopefully the Tennis Channel will show the semifinals and final live here in the states.

Also Marko and Nikola Cacic were defeated by Leonardo Mayer and Horacio Zeballos 6-3, 1-6, 9-11. What a tough loss for Marko, who had a match point, but were unable to close out the match. I guess this will be a learning experience for him to close out a match.

Marko will be back in action tomorrow as he will take on Alessio de Mauro in his first round singles match. This is a good opportunity for Marko to get a win singles. I really hope that he will do well and give a good performance in front of the hometown fans. Of course i hope that Nole will give him a few pointers.

Anyway here are a couple of more Nolena pics along with a recent pic of Djordje.

Glad that you like the pics. I`m sure that we`ll be seeing Djole on the tour in the next year or two if he plays well in juniors. I`ve been hearing a lot of great things about him.

Here is an update on Marko`s first round singles match. Unfortunately he had another tough loss as he was defeated by Alessio Di Mauro 7-6(5), 5-7, 0-6. What a tough loss for Marko, especially since he was upset 5-2 and had two match points, which he sadly couldn`t convert. He was so close to getting his first singles win in his hometown, but just couldn`t close it out. I really hope that Marko doesn`t get too discouraged by today`s loss and can learn from it.

Nole made his long awaited return to action earlier today in Belgrade and it was a successful one as he defeated Fabio Fognini 6-4, 6-4. Good win for Nole. While i`m glad that he got the win, his performance wasn`t all that great as he struggled with his serve. Tomorrow Nole will take on compatriot Filip Krajinovic in the quarterfinals. I hope that Nole can put together a better performance against the surprising Krajinovic tomorrow.

Nole`s quest to repeat as champion in Belgrade sadly came to an end as he was forced to retire due to breathing problem caused by respiratory troubles after losing the first set in his match against compatriot Filip Krajinovic 4-6. What a terrible end for Nole. Just as he`s playing well again, once again he gets struck down by some ailment and what`s worse about this is that it happened in his hometown tournament. I really hope that this isn`t too serious and we`ll see Nole back in action at the Madrid Masters next week.

Earlier today Nole withdrew from the Madrid Masters due to his recent illness. While i`m sad that Nole won`t be playing in Madrid, i think that he`s doing the right thing in withdrawing from the tournament. I really hope that Nole will get well soon and can come back strong at the French Open. Plus i hope that Jelena will give him some much needed TLC.

Yesterday the men`s draw for the French Open was unveiled and here is Nole`s part of the draw:

(16) Juan Carlos Ferrero (ESP) vs Pablo Cuevas (URU)
Marc Gicquel (FRA) vs Pere Riba (ESP)
Potito Starace (ITA) vs Illya Marchenko (UKR)
Robby Ginepri (USA) vs (18) Sam Querrey (USA)

(31) Victor Hanescu (ROU) vs Oscar Hernandez (ESP)
Rajeev Ram (USA) vs Qualifier
Kei Nishikori (JPN) vs Santiago Giraldo (COL)
Evgeny Korolev (KAZ) vs (3) Novak Djokovic (SRB)

So what does everyone think about the draw for Nole? Personally i think that it looks pretty favorable for him early, but it could get pretty tough for him with a likely third round meeting with Juan Carlos Ferrero. Nole has had his share of troubles with the Spaniards on the red clay with a couple of losses to Fernando Verdasco at Monte Carlo and Rome and those tough losses to Rafa last year. If Nole can get past that match, then i think that he has a pretty good chance of making it to the semifinals where he will most likely face Rafa. I really hope that Nole will do well in Roland Garros. I want so badly for him to redeem himself after last year`s early exit.

Also we need to wish Nole a Happy 23rd Birthday.

I really hope that he`s having a great birthday and got a nice birthday party.

Anyway here are some pics of Nole practicing earlier today at RG along with a new pic of Marko and Djole.
