Other that the run to the semifinals in Rome, Anna hasn`t played well lately.

As for Mauresmo, the downward spiral continues for her. It`s pretty obvious that her best days were rapidly dwindling. In fact she`s not even the best player in her country anymore, with Alize now surplanting her as the #1 French ladies player.

Also the Women`s College World Series starts tonight with the headline later tonight being Arizona vs. UCLA. Now that should be a fun game to watch later on between two of the best and hottest teams in the nation.

Here`s an update on the early matches in Roland Garros.

First of all Masha completed her match against Bethanie Mattek and once again she had another struggled. Fortunately she pulled out a 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 victory.

While i`m glad that Masha won, i`m not pleased with her performance. This was a match that she should`ve won in straight sets. Once again she struggled her serve, missed out on a couple of good opportunities to end the match quicker and had a few too many unforced errors. Masha obviously needs to show some improvement, especially with a potential round of 16 matchup against Fed Cup teammate Dinara Safina looming.

Meanwhile before Masha`s match, we got an all hotties rematch between Ana and Caroline. It went the same way as it did in Australia, as Ana defeated Caroline 6-4, 6-1. Another very good win for Ana.

She looked very sharp again. The first set was pretty competitive with Ana using her superior skills and experience to win it. After that she dominated the second set to get the win. I`m really pleased with how well Ana has played in her last couple of matches. These performances has firmly established her as the favorite in Roland Garros. As for Caroline, another tough loss for her.

She was played well in the first set, but Ana was too much for her in the end. Still i think that Caroline has nothing to be ashamed of. She made a nice little run at Roland Garros. Hopefully she can learn from this.

Also Vera Z defeated Stephanie Cohen-Aloso 6-2, 6-4. Good win for Vera.

It`s nice to see her continue her good play.

Unfortunately it wasn`t all good news in the early matches as Iveta was routed by Fed Cup teammate Petra Cetkovska 3-6, 3-6.

Iveta got off to a poor start, falling behind 1-5. She really didn`t have an answer for Cetkovska, who really outplayed her.

Meanwhile in doubles, Ashley gets to stick around Roland Garros a little longer as she and cutie Galina Voskoboeva completed their match that was suspended yesterday with a 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 win over the French team of

Lastly we got a huge upset today in the early sesson as Katarina Srebotnik upsetted Serena Williams 6-4, 6-4. This is a huge shock to see Serena lose this early, especially in a Grand Slam. However i had a feeling that this could happen since Srebotnik is one of those very tricky up and coming players. Obviously this opens things up for Ana in the lower half of the draw.

So that`s what transpired in the early matches at Roland Garros. Alize and Aggie has just started their match. Later on today Jelena wil take on Domi in another all hotties matchup. Also in doubles, Elena and Vera Z will take on Barbora Zahlavova Strycova and Sofia Arvidsson in their first round match. Hopefully they can get off to a good start later today.

We got some great action in the afternoon matches at Roland Garros today.

First of all in the battle of the cuties, Aggie defeated Alize 6-4, 6-4. This was a pretty good match between two of the tennis` rising stars. Alize jumped out to a 4-1 to start the match, but Aggie immediately got it going and won five of the last seven games to win the set. The second set was pretty even for the most part until Aggie finally broke Alize`s serve to clinch the match. So it was a good win for Aggie. As for Alize, obviously she`s going to be thinking about blowing that 4-1 lead in the first set. She was playing so well, but couldn`t withstand Aggie`s charge. I hope that this will be a learning experience for Alize.

Meanwhile in the other all hotties matchup, Jelena and Domi were among the last ones to take to the court for their third round match, which was a good one with Jelena winning the first set 7-5 and leading in the second 4-2 when the match was suspended due to darkness. The match was pretty competitive as expected and nicely played. Domi had her moments in it, but missed out on a golden opportunity to win the first set. From then Jelena has been gradually taking control of the match. So it`ll be interesting to see how things will go when the match is resumed tomorrow.

Also taking the court in the latter part of the day was Flavia for her third round match against Venus Williams. The match barely finished before it got too dark with Flavia pulling off the upset 7-5, 6-3. What a great win for Flavia.

She got off to a slow start, but eventually got it going and used her superior clay court skills to get the win. This is the type of win that will obviously give Flavia a huge confidence boost.

Lastly in doubles, Elena and Vera Z routed Barbora Zahlavova Strycova and Sofia Arvidsson 6-1, 6-3. Very good win for them.

This is a great start for them.

So in all it was a very good day for our favorite hotties, which was capped off by Flavia`s big upset win. Tomorrow Masha returns to the court at Chatrier to take on 32 seed Karin Knapp. This will be Masha`s first meeting with Knapp, who is ranked #38 and a teammate of Flavia`s on Team Italy. I think that Masha needs to improve her play tomorrow, because Knapp won`t be a pushover and is a better clay court player than her previous opponents. A little later, Jelena and Domi will complete their match that was suspended today. Also Vera will face Alekandra Wozniak in her third round match. Meanwhile in doubles, after a couple of days of waiting, we`ll finally get to see the all hotties matchup between the Bondarenko sisters and Team Czechoslovakia`s cuties, Domi and Eva Hrdinova. Hopefully we`ll get a nice competitive match there. Also Ashley and Galina Voskoboeva will take on the second seeded team of Ai Sugiyama and Katarina Srebotnik. I hope that the ladies can keep it competitive against the very good duo of Sugiyama and Srebotnik, who recently crushed Elena and Victoria Azarenka in the semifinals at Charleston. As always i hope that our favorite hotties will do well tomorrow.

Here`s the latest from Roland Garros.

First of all Masha had an easier time today, defeating Karin Knapp 7-6(4), 6-0. Very good win for Masha.

The first set was pretty competitive where Masha had some of the same problems resurfacing in it, but she did a good job of turning it up in the tiebreaker to win the set. After that she really dominated the rest of the match and quickly disposed of Knapp. This was a nice win for Masha and an obvious upgrade from her previous two matches. I`m very pleased with how much sharper she looked today, especially with the serve, which got much better as the match progressed.

Meanwhile Jelena and Domi completed their match that was suspended yesterday with Jelena finishing off a 7-5, 6-3 victory. Good win for Jelena.

Once again she played another nice solid and really elevated her play in the second set. As for Domi, tough loss for her.

Obviously she had a golden opportunity to win the first set, but couldn`t do it. After that it was all downhill for her. Still it was a good run for Domi. So hopefully she take this as a learning experience.

Also Vera Z routed Alekandra Wozniak 6-2, 6-2. Very good win for Vera.

It`s nice to see her put together another good performance. She has really been one of the most constant players on the tour this year along with Masha.

We got some good action in doubles as well.

First of all in the all hotties matchup, the Bondarenko sisters defeated Domi and Eva Hrdinova 6-0, 2-6, 6-2. Good win there for Alona and Kat.

This is a nice start for them.

Makiri and Flavia finally played their first round match, where they defeated hometown favorite Camille Pin and Stephanie Cohen-Aloso 7-5, 6-2. Good win for them.

It`s nice to see Makiri and Flavia pick up where they left off of from Estoril.

Also we got a huge upset today as Ashley and the very cute Galina Voskoboeva defeated the second seeded team of Ai Sugiyama and Katarine Srebotnik 6-4, 4-6, 6-2. What a great win for Ashley and Galina.

I was hoping that they would keep the match competitive, but they exceeded my expectations in beating the #2 team in the world. It`s great to see Ashley getting a big win like this. BTW i heard in an interview this morning that she will be on the cover of the August issue of Playboy that she recently posed for. I`m glad that Ashley got the cover. Like i`ve said eariler, i hope that the pictures will be very sexy.

So in all it was another very good day for some of our favorite hotties. Now we`re down to the round of 16. Team Russia not surprisingly dominates the top half, while Ana leads the way in the bottom half along with Jelena and Flavia. Tomorrow those three will be in action. Ana will start out the day with her fourth round match against Petra Cetkovska. Obviously Ana will be a big favorite. If she can continue the good form that she has shown, then she should win this match easily. After that match, Jelena will play Aggie in a very intriguing matchup. Jelena has played well so far, but she could be in for a tough match against the always cute but dangerous Aggie. Also Flavia will take on Carla Suarez Navarro. Hopefully she can keep it going in that match. Meanwhile in doubles, the Bondarenko sisters will take on Alize and Timea Bacsinszky and later on Ashley and Galina will play Sorana-Mihaela Cirstea and Aravane Rezai. Hopefully Ashley and Galina can bring over the momentium from their great upset win today in tomorrow`s match. As always i hope that our favorite hotties will do well tomorrow.

The Sexy Serbs headlined today`s matches at Roland Garros.

First of all Ana started out the day with her fourth round match against Petra Cetkovska and it wasn`t even close to a contest as Ana destroyed Cetkovska 6-0, 6-0. What an impressive performance from Ana.

You`d think that this was a first round match with the beatdown that she put on. I`m very pleased that Ana continued her great play today. I think that her performance eariler today is a big time statement. Plus i must add that it`s great to see Ana serve up a double bagel finally.

This is the second time one of our favorite hotties has done it this year, with Masha being the first one to do so.

After Ana disposed of Petra Cetkovska, Jelena took to the court at Chatrier for her match against Aggie, where she defeated the always cute but dangerous Pole 6-3, 7-6(4). Good win for Jelena.

She played very well in the first set. Then got off to a great start in the second set, going up 5-1 before Aggie made a strong comeback to send it into a tiebreaker. Jelena finally turned it up again in the tiebreaker to clinch the win. While i`m glad that Jelena got the win, i`m disappointed with her nearly blowing a 5-1 in the second set. It was obviously that she had lost focus during that time. Still she did a good job of getting it back going in the tiebreaker and winning the match in straight sets.

Unfortunately it wasn`t all good news in singles as Flavia was upsetted by Carla Suarez Navarri 3-6, 2-6. What a terrible performance from Flavia.

She had a great chance of going on a nice run after beating Venus Williams in her previous match, but instead she was outplayed pretty badly.

Meanwhile in doubles, a lot of our favorite hotties were in action today.

First of all the Bondarenko sisters had another tough match today where they defeated Alize and Timea Bacsinsky 2-6, 6-2, 7-6(7). Good win for Alona and Kat.

Once again they stepped it up when they needed to get the win.

Also Ashley and Galina continued their great run with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Sorana-Mihaela Cirstea and Aravane Rezai. Very good win for them.

It`s great to see them follow up their great upset victory with a solid performance today.

Unfortunately it wasn`t all good news for a few of our favorite hotties.

First of all Makiri and Flavia were defeated by Dinara Safina and Agnes Szavay 3-6, 6-7(4). Tough loss for them.

I was really hoping that they could somehow pull off the upset, but it wasn`t the case. What this loss so bad is that Flavia has two losses today and we`re denied of an all hotties showdown between the Bondarenko sisters and Makiri and Flavia.

Also Elena and Vera Z were beaten by the third seeded team of Kveta Peschke and Rennae Stubbs 0-6, 4-6. Tough loss there for two of Team Russia`s finest.

So in all it was a mixed bag overall for some of our favorite hotties today at Roland Garros. I`ll be back later with tomorrow`s schedule and pictures from today`s match. Normally this is where i would do it, but i have to install a service pack right now. So everyone will have to be patient and wait an hour for it.

As promised eariler, here`s a rundown on tomorrow`s schedule, which will be headlined by Team Russia.

First of all in the marquee match, Masha will take on Fed Cup teammate Dinara Safina for their second meeting in the round of 16 at Roland Garros, with the first one being the infamous match where Masha blew a 5-1 lead in the third set a couple of years ago. Obviously this will be a big test for Masha, especially since Dinara has been playing very well lately. I think that she needs to come out strong right away.

Before that match, Vera Z will play Elena Dementieva to start out the day at Chatrier. This will be their second meeting in a month, with Vera winning the previous match in the semifinals at Charleston. Vera has been playing well at Roland Garros, but this will be a tough match for her since Dementieva has also been playing well. Hopefully Vera can put together a good match.

Also in doubles, the Bondarenko sisters will take on Dinara Safina and Agnes Szavay. This will be quite a test for Alona and Kat. However they`re already battletested with the tough matches they`ve played. So hopefully they can come playing sharply.

I agree with you Chris. I also hope that Alona will have a singles breakthrough soon. She has shown that she can play with the best as evident by her matches against Masha at Indian Wells and Amelia Island. I think that a few of the hotties might need to take some yoga classes to get the splits down like Jelena. In fact i would love to do a few yoga workouts with them anytime, especially with Jelena.

Well it`s been a very tough day at Roland Garros.

First of all Masha was defeated by teammate Dinara Safina for the second time in three years today 7-6(6), 6-7(6), 2-6. This is a very tough loss for Masha.

After a tough first set, she had match point up 5-3, but unfortunately she got tight and was broken. Then in the tiebreaker she had a chance to serve for the match, but her serving problems resurfaced and wind up losing that set. After that it was pretty much downhill from there. This is really a tough loss to take. I still can`t believe that Masha blew this match.

However i have to give Dinara credit for playing well, especially in the third set. BTW i`m very pissed off at the crowd for booing Masha for the second year in a row.

In fact she called a couple of them a-holes, which i love.

This is one of the reasons why the French Open is my least favorite Grand Slam. They always seem to attract France`s biggest morons. Masha shouldn`t have to take that crap from those surrender monkeys.

Also Vera Z was defeated by Elena Dementieva 4-6, 6-1, 2-6. Tough loss there for Vera.

She played very well in the second set, but her play went downhill in the third set and she imploded mentally late in the match.

So that`s the story on what has been a very tough day at Roland Garros. Now we need Ana and Jelena to step it up more than ever with Masha out. In fact this is as good of an opportunity as they will ever get in a Grand Slam tournament. Tomorrow they`ll play their quaterfinals matches. Ana will take on Patty Schynder, while Jelena will face the surprising Carla Suarez Navarro. First of all i think that Ana could get her first test of the tournament against Patty Schynder, who is a pretty good clay court player. However i think that if she plays at the same level that she has playing at, then she should win that. Also Jelena needs to really come out strong against Carla Suarez Navarro. She has been playing well at times at Roland Garros, but tends to make the matches tougher by having some lapses as evident yesterday in her match against Aggie. So hopefully the Sexy Serbs can come through for us tomorrow and keep our hope for a hottie title win alive at Roland Garros.

Normally this will be the point where i`ll post some pictures, but there will be no pictures from today`s matches. I`ve seen a few from Masha`s match and it makes me upset to look at them.

I think that Masha`s outburst was toward at least a few fans. Personally i understand your opinion, but at the same time it`s human that Masha would go off. Besides i think that she showed a lot of poise not flipping those losers off, which i would`ve done.

Anyway tomorrow at Roland Garros, Ana will start out the day with her match against Patty Schynder. Then a little later Jelena will take on Carla Suarez Navarro. Like i`ve said eariler, this is a golden opportunity for Ana and Jelena. I really hope that they`ll step up and take full advantage of it.

Ana in FHM, that's not good news for sure! She looks great in that first pic, can't wait to see the rest.

Masha completely lost it after having match point. Seems like everything was building up and then she just lost control of the match and let her youthful emotions leak out for the first time in a long time. She's usually very poised but not so much on this day.

Well it was a much better day today at Roland Garros as the Sexy Serbs came through for us.

First of all Ana started out the day with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Patty Schynder. Another good win for Ana.

I thought that this match would be a little tougher, but instead she continued her excellent play by delivering another dominant performance.

A little later, Jelena defeated the surprising Carla Suarez Navarro 6-3, 6-2. Good solid performance from Jelena.

She had a couple of problems, but nothing major as she was in control of the match and really put her experience to great use against the inexperienced Spaniard.

Also in the all hotties matchup in doubles, the Bondarenko sisters defeated Ashley and Galina Voskoboeva 6-3, 6-3. Good win there for Alona and Kat.

It`s nice to see them win more comfortably. As for Ashley and Galina, it`s sad to see their run end.

It was good while it lasted and they got a couple of great wins in the process. So they have nothing to be ashamed of. In fact i`m very proud of them, especially Ashley.

It`s great to see her go on a nice run in doubles. Hopefully we`ll get to see her team up one of the more elite hotties like Makiri or Dani soon.

So it was a great day at Roland Garros with Ana and Jelena coming through with excellent wins today. Now they`re not only back in the semifinals of the French Open for the second straight year, but also in a Grand Slam semifinal for the second straight tournament. I`m very pleased with how consistant Ana and Jelena has been in the Grand Slams lately.

Now we`ll get to see the much anticpated showdown between them.
