No problem, I think the whole incident was so bizarre and I hate how Zidane seems to get away with it (with the people, they sympathise with him). It's just.. wrong!

I know he didn't get away, but in my opinion he did (I said this because people believe him, what he has said and they feel for him). I know he was punished, and that was about right..And yes, he had an amazing career but it's also important to remember that he has behaved this way before, in fact, this was his third time. People seem to think that he has been an angel in all of his football career, which is practically impossible (let's face it, very few are). He has been violent before, so I just don't get why people seem to be so blind and believe everything he says..
And his amazing football career is not a good thing to base sympathies on, if something, they should be irritated by the fact that such an "amazing" footballer chose to end his career like this. And I'm still irritated with the fact that Materazzis words seemed to make it okay for Zidane to headbutt him. Okay, then everytime someone insults me or my family, I'll respond with violence too. Wait, that's not okay? Hmm.. I see what you mean, but if you think about it, it's kind of insane. Everything has been blown out of proportion, and in some countries (like mine) it's obvious who people sympathize with, and I'm almost embarrassed to admit that the hatred towards Italy at this point almost looks like racism. |

nobody investigated what another player said to Totti when Totti spit him in the face...they just red carded Totti and he couldn't play for a loooong time.That was right of course.....but why nobody asked what the other player said to upset him?
If they cared so much about Zidane,why didn't they care about Totti? anyway,I guess we're going off topic here so,back on topic I just saw a funny funny interview Marco did opposite to Kaka (Milan's player) on a famous italian tv show.Marco is so sweet and so humble,and out of the field he's not so "hard" at all. I would post that,but it's all in italian,soooooo I'm not sure if someone would watch it __________________

I agree with what you said, Samantha. And in that incident, Totti was the scapegoat.
Oh that's too bad  I'd love to see it, if I knew what they were saying. Is it long? Could you perhaps translate it for us? In that case you could post it, I think more people would watch it then |
