I have really missed being able to talk hockey here at Fan Forum. This is the most exciting time of the year, as the playoffs begin this weekend. All of the matchups aren't known yet, but we do know what teams will make it to the dance.

*sigh* My Leafs are out of the Playoffs. But I'll probably still tune into the other series if they are good match ups.

I would love to see an Ottawa/Montreal first round match up. However this might not happen if just one of those teams flips positions in the standings after tonight.

My early prediction for Stanley cup final will be Carolina vs Detroit(or Calgary)

Wow, the first Sens/Lightning game was intense... I was really impressed that Ottawa was able to come back in the third period. It's going to be a great series!

I am a Stars fan. I am not a hardcore hockey fan though but that's because I have lived in Texas most of my life. LOL
I would love to see my Stars get back to the Stanley Cup Finals. I think it will probably a rematch of the 2002 Finals with Detroit and Carolina.
CNNSI has some wacky predictions for the Finals. 5 people of their staff gave their predictions: Stars over Senators, Red Wings over Sabres, Devils over Stars, Sharks over Hurricanes, and Stars over Sabres.

I'm another sad deluded Leafs fan. We are used to not going very far in the Playoffs only this season it's not at all. They should have fired the whole front office instead of just poor Pat.

I would like to see the Sens win , simply because they haven't ( well not since the 1920's or so) Or the Flyers would be nice simply because poor Bobby Clarke wants it so bad. I was lucky enough to be able to see a lot of the games last night . I was watching three of them at once . They were all great games.

I'm not a Philadelphian, but I do wish the Flyers good luck (for your sake). Besides, I think that they have a chance of beating the Sabres...as for Detroit--I wouldn't be surprised if they walk away with lord Stanley
