I'm for a team in Seattle if it has to go anywhere. I might want to live in Seattle one day, so that might work out better.

Seriously it sounds to me like you Canadians do not want another team there! So I think the NHL needs to listen and refuse to move the Coyotes.

And if it was up to me I'd make our next thread title about keeping the Coyotes in Phoenix!

I know, I made a deal with the tv Gods (which I will not go into for fear of jinxing it) that I wouldn't make fun of the leafs if I got what I wanted... I'm still waiting on it, let's just hope i don't have reason to make jokes.

If the Coyotes were to move back to Canada, I'd love for a city in the maritimes to get a team, though I know it would never happen.

Lou, so did Ottawa, but the Sens as we know them only came into being in 1990.

Sorry I wasn't around last night to start the thread, I had to go to sleep.

Ok well despite Seattle having a team way back in the day, they should get a new team. Except not at the expense of Phoenix losing theirs. I am seriously going into depression if the Coyotes leave me.

I'm going to try to not worry about it for a while since nothing is finalized yet.

But they are weird when it comes to goal celebration.

The 5 cities you hear the most about when it comes to having a team are Kansas City, Las Vegas, Winnipeg and Quebec City, Seattle.

Kansas is getting a preseason game next season, I guess they are trying the market on that one.

Vegas is too much of a tourist city, it would be hard to get the fanbase behind the home team.

Winnipeg seems ready to get another chance.

Seattle lost a NBA not long ago, if they couldn't keep that odds are slim to have a hockey team.

Quebec City needs a bigger arena before anything else, sadly no one wants to pay for it.

We'll have to wait and see who moves where, with the current economy it wouldn't be a surprise if a few teams have to move or simply disapear.

Not official yet but they seem to be the front runners with a Habs/Bruins game to make it more fun
