For all who are wondering. The Olympic team this year is : Shawn Johnson, Nastia Liukin, Alicia Sacramone, Chellsie Memmel, Bridget Sloan, and Sam Peszek.

Yeah, usually people only recognize Shawn, Nastia, and Alicia. Chellsie is also recognized a lot. She was almost on the 04 team, but then she hurt her ankle.

I love the 96 team also.

I will always love the Magnificent 7. They're what really got me into gymnastics.
But the gymnasts I followed the most were the 00 & 04 teams and the years in between

Ah you loved the '92 team too Brings back the memories. I saw the John Hancock tour they had after the Olympics No autograph session though so I didn't actually meet anyone. But man I love this sport!

I love gymnastics.

I'm really sad about both Paul and Morgan having to pull out.

I'm not super familiar with the current women's team, but I'm really looking forward to watching them at the Olympics.

Both Paul and Morgan? wow that suck i love the Hamm brothers. As for the girl i would have to go with Shawn she's the only one i really know on the team this year.

It does suck i will miss seeing them i always enjoy them i'm sad they won't be there. Atleast i can root for the girls.

Is anybody a Kyle Shewfelt fan here? (Canadian gymnast who won the Gold in Athens for the Floor exercise.) I'm so sad he won't be of the final for the Floor this time. It's a miracle though that he managed to get here in the first place (he shattered both knees earlier this year).
