well hopefully they'll be back challenging Ferrari & Mclaren next weekend. races are most exciting if there's competition for both drivers & construction championships.

Did you watch the qualifying session? I was quite surprised that Hamilton didn't snatch the pole. I thought he would be fueled lighter than others in order be P1... Of course I don't complain that the other McLaren is on pole. Biggest surprise - Mark Webber's P2... Wow! I'm glad that Nelsinho made it to top 10 today. __________________

Silverstone and rain...what a race
Kudos to Hamilton, he had a lot pressure but he still made it. And Heidfeld finally showed a glimpse of his old strongness, I think he was the only one who never left the track. Massa oy.... did anyone count how many time he turned himself around? I'm still laughing. Oh and Barrichello, long time since he've been on the podium for the last time, his team was brave enough to change to wet tyres and that was the right decision. __________________

what a race! it rained at the latter part. and Lewis was 66 seconds ahead of Nick! i think Lewis drove brilliantly today and he was really ecstatic on the podium! and who wouldn't be? this is his home race! Nick seems happy too, i don't think he was expecting 2nd place. and Rubens on the podium...now, that's a surprise! did you see him hug his crew and they all fell on the floor? Ferrari had a distastrous race! first off with Massa whose car wasn't really at its best. and then not changing Kimi's tyres on the first pit stop caused him to struggle for 10 laps after that. Kubica didn't do so well either as with the Renault and Heikki had bad luck as well. overall, entertaining race but the only time i was really excited was during the pitstops when Kimi & Lewis came in at the same time. and yeah, Kimi, Lewis & Massa all tied at 48 points at the drivers championship! wow! __________________

Yeah, Hamilton was phenomenal today from the start till the chequered flag. And we saw today some strategical mistakes - Renault and Ferrari should have changed the tires in Fernando's and Kimi's cars. Btw. Mark Webber was spinning quite a lot today too. __________________

During the race it crossed my mind that Schumacher is probably somewhere in Switzerland laughing his ass of because of all the mistakes Raikkönen, Massa, Hamilton and Co. were making. Quote:

THe championship is very exciting
But I hope Kimi'll win.... Massa is too irregular & Hamilton, what I say of him that u don't know .. That is the only person that missing a championship with 17 point in advance in the last 2 races __________________

I just hope Hamilton doesn't win the title. It's either him or a Ferrari driver (which one? I don't have a clue!) and I definitely prefer a Ferrari driver to win it this year.

Massa will never win a championship, I swear lol. You can save this post and haunt me down at the end of the year if he wins the championship but I think I'm safe. I like him - much more than Raikkönen. And I like Hamilton, I don't love him but I think he's okay. Still miss Schumacher though. Michael not Ralf.

That's true - Felipe is inconsistent. On the other hand Kimi is not the most consistent driver this year either. That's why the championship this year is wide open and who'll win is a total mystery to me.
