Thanks for the new thread. :)

TFTNT Joanna! :flowers: Just in time for the new GP too! I'm so glad someone else started an F1 thread that isn't me. LOL.

I got the title from Sutil's funny radio messages (from 2013):

I don't blame Sutil for not understanding properly though. It gets awfully noisy on the track.

Quali later. OMG, I have not been this excited to watch quali. It's just that we were on a loooong break and I miss F1!

JoJoF92 08-22-2015 12:19 AM

no problem :)

yeah, I remember that  it's easy to misunderstand things I can barely make out any words every week. of course the commentators tell us the drivers can hear it more clearly but still, they have to drive too it's hard to concentrate and sometimes they don't articulate well enough

L i N d $ @ y 08-22-2015 09:05 PM

Congrats to Lewis on another pole. I have to admit, I lost interest in quali when Kimi was knocked out. However, I'm quite happy that Bottas is in P3. Hopefully he does a good job at the race later.

JoJoF92 08-23-2015 01:58 AM

I know, such bad luck for Kimi  I'm not very satisfied with the rest either.. Massa 6th, Vettel 8th :pout: not even gonna comment on the penalties for the McLaren  uh, they couldn't do anything anyways

L i N d $ @ y 08-24-2015 12:07 AM

Congrats to Lewis on another win. Very surprised to see Romain in the podium but he pretty much didn't do any mistakes so that was deserving. Great start from Perez & Ricciardo. Overall a pretty boring race. Seb's tyre failure at the last lap was very dramatic, I have to say. Not a good call to let him stay out during the last few laps. Kimi was in the points so I'm happy about that. ;) Another break and then we head to Italy!

JoJoF92 08-24-2015 01:08 AM

the beginning of the race was funny with all the sudden fallouts but the rest wasn't much.. I am still so mad Vettel had a puncture in the last lap I can't believe it  we could've had a third place at least ughh  good for Grosjean but Vettel would've deserved that too...we gotta do something about these tyres there have been too many punctures this weekend >_<

L i N d $ @ y 08-24-2015 01:35 AM

It was a gamble that Ferrari took but unfortunately it didn't pay off. UGH, I hated it. They lost the podium because of that. I heard Seb didn't talk to the media afterwards.

Hamburgo1001 08-24-2015 04:16 AM

Sigh, Formula 1 has become so one-sided that I am switching the channel now as soon as Mercedes has both cars in front. It also doesn't help that Jenson is driving a lame duck of a car and I usually only get to see him when he is lapped or forced to retire. :pout:

JoJoF92 08-24-2015 03:36 PM

^ yeah, it's really monotonous except for a few races, that's why I don't even care about the first two places when there's no hope for the others, but a good result wouldn't hurt my faves :sigh:

oh, so it was their fault. even better  with these tyres, ahh, too risky.. so that's why our commentators said that now all the conspiracy theories are shattered about the team sabotaging Kimi's car bc he's not the no.1 driver. which was the dumbest idea anyways, no one would do that to their own driver

NikNak 08-24-2015 03:45 PM

Thanks for the video and tweets.

We lost another racing car driver, this time at Indy Car. Justin used to race for Minardi back in 2003. I'm forgetting who his teammate was but anyways, another driver gone too soon (he's 37 years old). :(

I know what you mean. Anytime a Mercedes is out front, I know it's going to be a boring race. Lewis & Nico are great but when a team/driver dominates the season, it can get boring. Like with the Schumi era. He dominated for years that FIA had to change the points system to make it 'competitive'.

Wait, are they saying it was Seb's fault? Because if Seb did insist to stay out, the team should still make the final call.
