Welcome to the thread!
I'm glad that we're getting a race this weekend. Easter break is quite lazy for me. __________________

I live in the Eastern part of the world so the European & Asian races work for me. Canada & U.S.A. never works for me.

I thought the race was boring. But props to Mercedes for making this a 1-2 for the team.

Not the most exciting race that's for sure but I love seeing Lewis win. It was good to see Alonso on the podium too which mixed it up a bit.
Vettel did not take too well to be told to let Ricardo through, it's so weird though to see him struggling with the car so much compared to Ricardo. Someone did make a interesting point that perhaps Ricardo is just more use to dealing with a difficult car whereas Vettel has had a great car for the last four years so now is really fighting it. I thought McLaren were going to be a lot more competitive this year so it's disappointing to see them struggling again. It would be great to see them up there again fighting with the Mercedes, Red Bull and Ferrari. __________________

I agree with that. Seb is super spoiled at RBR that it's fun to watch him struggle.
Sad about McLaren too, I was hoping this will be the year they can step it up but apparently Mercedes is the car to beat this year. __________________

It's weird, I actually thought in testing the McLaren's looked okay and in the first race they didn't look too bad, I feel like they've gone backward.

Hopefully they can recover in the following races. I had such high hopes for them.

Me too. I think they even believed they had a good car for this year. To be fair though look at Ferrari, one race Alonso was celebrating 9th place and the next race he is on the podium so it just goes to show how quickly things can turn around with some new parts etc.
I'd love to see Ferrari and McLaren back up there competing and even Williams tbh as it feels like they are finally back on the up. Red Bull have won and dominated enough races over the last four years so I'm happy for them to have a quiet spell. __________________

Yeah, I'm fine with RBR having a dry spell. They've been dominant for years so it's time for the other teams to shine.
I won't rule out McLaren though and you're correct in saying that about Ferrari. __________________

I liked the last race, it wasn't as boring as the other ones even though it was clear who was going to be #1 and #2 but it was fun to see SV overtaking everyone and the battle between Alonso and Kimi
Now, bring on Monaco __________________

We all know how important pole is too at Monaco so it will be interesting to see who gets it, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Red Bulls challenging Mercedes given that they are quite good in the corners, it doesn't matter so much about straight line speed at Monaco.

I agree. I can't wait for Monaco! It is important to get pole there because of the track and how difficult it is to overtake there. Monaco has always been one of my fave GPs.
